About me and my therapy practice

I offer clinical supervision in a warm, supportive and collaborative space, grounded in a trauma-informed and relational approach. My aim is to understand your perspective while always holding the needs, safety and wellbeing of clients at the centre of the work.

I provide a nurturing supervisory relationship where you can reflect openly, explore clinical challenges, and think together about relational dynamics, ethical practice and the emotional impact of the work. Supervision is a space to develop confidence, clarity and your own authentic therapeutic style.

I tailor supervision to your experience, setting and clinical needs, offering thoughtful support and gentle challenge to promote both therapist wellbeing and high-quality client care.

I currently work for a domestic abuse charity, Lecture at WCUC and run my own private practice. I have also worked in a school and various charity settings. My client's ages have ranged from 12-83 years old.

If a healthcare professional has given you a diagnosis, or if you have tried to diagnose yourself and are left with unanswered questions, I understand—I’ve been there myself. That’s why I know there is always hope. If you want to make changes in your life, I can help you and show you how. This can give you a new outlook—greater self-awareness and the ability to manage your emotions and life in a happier, healthier way.

I specialise in trauma, PTSD, addiction, OCD, anxiety, anger, behavioural change, depression, panic attacks, and relationship issues.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach includes

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. When memories are not fully processed, they can continue to affect how we think, feel and respond in the present. EMDR supports the nervous system to reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming and less emotionally charged.

EMDR can be helpful for trauma and PTSD, as well as for difficulties such as shame and low self-worth, phobias and fears, anxiety and panic, depression, relationship and attachment difficulties, and complicated grief. By working with both emotional and body-based responses, EMDR can help people feel less stuck in the past and more able to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps you understand how your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours are connected. By changing one, we can influence the others. I also use Narrative Exposure Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).

Practice description

My aim is to support you in as few sessions as possible. I believe each individual is unique, this is your life, and you need to live it your way. But we all need help sometimes.

I currently work for a domestic abuse charity, Lecture in Counselling and Psychotherapy at WCUC, and run a private practice. My experience includes working in a school and various charity settings.

About me and my therapy practice

Do you feel that past events and other people have a negative impact on your emotions? Are they holding you back? Have you tried to change, but find you can’t on your own?  Has a health care professional given you a diagnosis, or have you tried to diagnose yourself? Has all this left you asking questions?  I’ve answered ‘yes’ to all these questions myself. Therefore, I know there is always hope. If you want to make changes in your life, I can help you – and show you.  This can give you a new outlook on life - more self-awareness and the ability to handle your emotions in a happier, healthier way. I am a trauma informed Psychotherapist (Acc), EMDR Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor who is fully qualified, insured and DBS checked.
