About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited, experienced counsellor and couples therapist offering a warm, collaborative, and professional space for individuals and couples seeking support.

My approach is rooted in person-centred values, which means I work from a place of deep respect for clients unique experiences and inner wisdom. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful tool for healing and change, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

I support clients in navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychological challenges, integrating tools and insights from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA) alongside my person-centred foundation. This integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to the client's needs.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals who witnessed or experienced domestic violence in childhood. Many clients come to therapy unsure why they feel anxious in relationships, struggle with boundaries, or have a strong fear of conflict. Often, these patterns can be traced back to early environments and links to adverse childhood experiences.

I am a qualified couples therapist and my work is grounded in aspects of the Developmental Model, Gottman and Imago.

Practice description

As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, I offer both face-to-face and online supervision from my practice in Ickenham, Middlesex.

My approach to supervision is integrative and creative, underpinned by a Person Centred approach. I have experience supporting both trainee and qualified counsellors who work with individual adults and couples.

I use Shohet and Hawkins’ Seven-Eyed Model to help you reflect on your client relationships, your own internal process and the broader context in which your work takes place. Supervision with me provides a safe and supportive space to explore all aspects of your clinical work and deepen both personal and professional development.

I place strong emphasis on self-awareness, ethical practice, and ongoing professional growth. I aim to help you navigate complex clinical issues and ethical dilemmas, enabling you to work safely and effectively with your clients.

I offer a balanced approach that combines support with gentle, constructive challenge, as I firmly believe this is where meaningful growth happens. My aim is to foster this process in a respectful and collaborative supervisory relationship.

If you are considering setting up your own private practice, I can provide practical guidance and ongoing support to help you feel confident, prepared, and well-equipped for this next step in your professional journey.
