About me and my therapy practice

As a clinical supervisor, I work with counsellors and trainees across different specialisms, including those working with adults, couples, children, and young people.

Supervision provides a confidential, supportive space to reflect on your therapeutic practice, explore challenging cases and ethical dilemmas, develop your skills and theoretical understanding, ensure client safety and wellbeing, process the emotional impact of your work, and maintain professional standards.

Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, supervision helps you work more effectively whilst taking care of your own wellbeing. I offer individual and group supervision, both in-person and online.

Practice description

As a supervisor, I provide a confidential and supportive space for counsellors and trainees to reflect on their practice. Whether you work with adults, couples, children, or young people, supervision helps enhance your professional growth and ensures safe, ethical practice.

My approach balances support with challenge, encouraging you to deepen your reflective practice and explore your client work at a more meaningful level. I'll help you move beyond surface observations, examine your therapeutic relationships more critically, and consider alternative perspectives or interventions you might not have explored. Good supervision isn't just about feeling supported, it's about being gently pushed to develop your skills, confront your blind spots, and ultimately become a more effective and confident practitioner.

My first session

Supervision is a collaborative partnership that requires dialogue and an understanding of the needs of your practice and of yourself as a therapist.  This is why I invite you to a free 30-minute telephone or online consultation.

This is an opportunity for you to discuss confidentially what brings you to supervision and to ask any questions you might have. While gaining a feel for how we might work together, consider it a no-pressure conversation to help you decide if I'm the right Supervisor for you.

Remember, this journey is all about you and your practice.
