About me and my therapy practice

FEELING LIKE YOU'VE TRIED EVERYTHING, BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK?

Do you find yourself walking on eggshells around your child—never knowing what might set them off?  Are conversations turning into shouting, tears, or silent withdrawal?  Maybe your child clings to you constantly, struggles to make decisions, or doubts their own abilities.  Or perhaps they lash out, demand attention, or make a huge fuss over small things.

You love your child deeply—but right now, it might feel like love isn’t enough.  You may feel lost, guilty, or even resentful at times.

Please know you’re not alone—and things can change.

I help parents and carers rebuild calm and connection in their families.  Together, we’ll find ways to bring peace back into your home, strengthen your bond with your child, and help them grow in confidence and self-esteem.  For foster and adoptive families, this can also mean greater placement stability and harmony.

You’ll gain a clearer understanding of why your child behaves the way they do—and discover practical, compassionate strategies that really make a difference.

I work with children and families both in person and online, using playful, creative methods such as games, arts & crafts, sand, Lego, breathing and relaxation techniques—approaches that gently help children express themselves and begin to heal.

If you’re ready for things to feel easier again, please reach out.

Send me a brief message with your concerns and availability, and I’ll be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your situation or offer helpful next steps.

You don’t have to face this alone—help is here.

Practice description

Helping Children Thrive — Together

Because when children heal, families grow stronger.

I'm a Play & Creative Arts Therapist, Parent & Child Attachment Practitioner, Filial Therapist, Sand Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.

When children struggle, it can be hard to understand what’s really going on.  Play & Creative Arts Therapy gives them a safe space to express big feelings, build confidence, and make sense of their world.

By also working closely with parents, I can offer insights and practical tools to support progress at home. Together, we’ll help your child feel calmer, more connected, and ready to thrive.

I work with privately funded clients, schools, local authorities and adoption agencies.

I also provide workshops to adult groups on therapeutic themes, therapeutic support groups for children and young people and clinical supervision both individually and in groups.

My first session

After a free 15 minute, no obligation, chat, our first session will be online (adults only) and is an opportunity for you to express your concerns in greater depth and for us to explore together how best to meet your objectives and your child's needs.  Feel free to bring any questions or queries you may have!

After this, we will exchange paperwork (contract, consent form, etc) and we will arrange to start therapy sessions at the best time available that works for you and your child.
