About me and my therapy practice

I offer integrative clinical supervision grounded in a relational and reflective approach. Underpinned by the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative space where supervisees can reflect on client work, professional development, ethical practice, and the impact of the work on themselves.

I work with both qualified practitioners and trainees in private practice and agency settings, recognising that supervision needs can vary depending on experience, modality, confidence, and context. My approach balances support, containment, curiosity, and gentle challenge, with the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the supervisory process.

Alongside exploring client work and relational dynamics, supervision can also provide space to think about professional identity, boundaries, self-care, private practice, and the emotional demands of therapeutic work.

My supervision practice is informed by an integrative understanding of counselling approaches and shaped by experience across both clinical and professional environments. I offer supervision online and in person.

Practice description

I see supervision as an important reflective space that supports both clinical practice and professional development. Whether you are newly qualified, in training, or an experienced practitioner, my aim is to provide a warm, collaborative, and thoughtful supervisory relationship where trust can develop, allowing you to feel supported, encouraged, and appropriately challenged.

I understand that counselling work can be deeply rewarding, but also emotionally demanding. Supervision can offer space not only to think about client work, ethical dilemmas, and therapeutic process, but also to reflect on the impact of the work on you as a practitioner. I value curiosity, openness, and reflection, and aim to create an environment where uncertainty, vulnerability, and challenge can be explored safely and honestly.

My supervision practice is relational and integrative, underpinned by the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision. I work with supervisees from a range of backgrounds and modalities, supporting both clinical thinking and wider professional development, including private practice, confidence, boundaries, and professional identity.

I believe effective supervision is built on a trusting relationship that allows space for both support and honest reflection, recognising that growth often comes through feeling safe enough to think openly about our work.

Supervision is available both online and in person from comfortable therapy rooms in Berkshire.

My first session

I offer a free introductory call lasting around 15–20 minutes, either by telephone or Zoom. This provides an opportunity for us to explore your supervisory needs, current practice, and what you may be looking for from supervision.

The introductory conversation also offers space for you to ask questions about how I work, discuss any previous experiences of supervision, and think together about whether we feel like a good fit for working together.

I understand that finding the right supervisor is an important decision. A strong supervisory relationship is built on trust, openness, and safety, and this initial conversation provides an opportunity to consider whether my approach feels supportive of your professional needs and development.

If you decide you would like to move forward, we can arrange a suitable day and time for your first supervision session. Supervision is offered both online and in person.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer an integrative approach to counselling grounded in person-centred therapy, meaning our work together is shaped around you, your experiences, and what feels most important to explore.

I understand that people seek therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, stress, loss, low mood, or simply feeling that life has become harder to manage than it once was. Sometimes there is a clear reason for seeking support, while at other times things may feel more difficult to make sense of.

I aim to provide a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. Working collaboratively and at your pace, I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives where helpful, while always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the centre of our work together.

My experience includes supporting adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, and I work both short and longer term depending on individual needs.

Practice description

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, particularly if you are used to coping on your own or supporting others. My aim is to offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard.

I understand that beginning therapy can sometimes feel daunting, and there is no expectation to know exactly where to start or to have everything figured out before coming. Together, we can explore what feels important to you at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.

My approach is collaborative and relational. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change, and I work in a way that is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and understanding. While my work is integrative in approach and informed by a range of therapeutic perspectives, our work together will always be shaped around your individual needs and goals.

I offer counselling both in person from comfortable therapy rooms in Berkshire and online, allowing flexibility to access support in a way that works best for you.

Some clients come with a clear issue they would like support with, while others simply know that something feels difficult, overwhelming, or different to how they would like life to feel. Therapy can provide a space to reflect, process experiences, gain greater self-understanding, and begin to make meaningful changes.

My first session

I offer a free introductory call lasting around 15–20 minutes, either by telephone or Zoom. This provides an opportunity for us to briefly explore what has brought you to counselling at this time and what you are hoping for from therapy.

You may wish to share any previous experiences of counselling or talking therapies, although there is no expectation to know exactly where to begin. This initial conversation also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how I work and what to expect from therapy.

Most importantly, it offers space for us to consider whether working together feels like the right fit. Feeling comfortable and safe with your therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process.

If you decide you would like to move forward, we can arrange a suitable day and time for your first session. Sessions last 50 minutes and are offered both in person and online.
