About me and my therapy practice
I offer reflective supervision for helping professionals, teachers and counsellors working with children, young people and families.
Before training in integrative psychotherapy, I worked as a primary school teacher and have spent over a decade working across education, mental health and community settings. I trained in supervision at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, specialising in supporting staff in schools and community contexts.
I understand the emotional complexity of working in helping professions — particularly roles that involve safeguarding, trauma, attachment difficulties and supporting distressed children and families. Supervision with me offers a warm, containing and reflective space to think, feel and make sense of your work.
Practice description
My approach is relational, trauma-informed and reflective. I integrate:
• psychodynamic and attachment-informed thinking
• trauma and nervous-system awareness
• reflective practice for safeguarding and complex systems work
• creative and embodied perspectives
• the emotional impact of working in education and caring professions
Supervision is a space where we can slow down and think together about the relational, emotional and systemic aspects of your work — not just case management.
My first session
Supervision provides space to:
• Reflect safely on complex client work
• Process the emotional impact of supporting others
• Strengthen confidence and professional identity
• Develop trauma-informed and relational practice
• Think about boundaries, safeguarding and ethical dilemmas
• Sustain wellbeing and prevent burnout
I aim to offer a supervision relationship that feels supportive, collaborative and thoughtfully challenging.

You do not need to be in crisis to seek support. Many parents seek support for their child simply because they want to feel more confident and connected in family life.
I work from Tuesday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, term time only. I offer weekend yoga workshops.
About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist with over ten years’ experience working in educational and mental health settings. My work centres on helping children and young people feel safer, more connected to their bodies and better able to understand and express their emotions. Alongside my private practice, I work as a school play and creative arts therapist and supervisor, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional and relational challenges families face today.
Many of the children I support experience anxiety, low mood, behavioural challenges, trauma or relational difficulties. Together we create a space where feelings can be explored safely through movement, creativity and the therapeutic relationship.
I work closely with parents and carers as part of the therapeutic process, helping them understand their child’s emotional world and how to support regulation and connection at home. Although some sessions are with parents/carers, the focus is always the whole family system. By supporting you, we support your child.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed practice and child development. I integrate:
• Child and adolescent psycho-education
• Play and creative arts therapy modalities
• Polyvagal and nervous-system informed practice
• Sandplay and symbolic thinking
• Compassion-focused and relational approaches
Practice description (rewritten)
My approach is integrative and body-aware, drawing from attachment theory, neurophysiology, play and creative arts therapy and trauma-informed practice.
Practice description
Alongside talking and creative work, I offer embodied therapeutic support through movement and children’s yoga. This gentle, playful approach can help children develop body awareness, emotional regulation, confidence and resilience. Sessions are tailored to the individual child and may include creative play, storytelling, sensory work and age-appropriate yoga-based movement.
This way of working is particularly helpful for children who find it hard to express feelings verbally or who benefit from a more active, experiential therapeutic space.
Parents/carers interested in therapy-informed yoga and supportive resources can find more information on my website.
My first session
Our first appointment is a consultation where we explore your child’s needs, your hopes for therapy and how we might work together. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and decide whether the approach feels like the right fit for your family.
