About me and my therapy practice
I follow the 7 eyed model of Supervision in my work with supervisees and I offer a free initial consultation to give us both an opportunity to see if we could work well together.
I trained as a Person Centred Therapist with Persona and as a Clinical Supervisor at the Tom Allen Centre in Glasgow. I offer the core conditions in my supervision work as I do in my Therapy work and the space I share with you when we work together is our space to use in the best way for what you need at that time.
In my practice I offer what I would be looking for in my own supervisor; kindness, openness, honesty support, humour, challenge, and an environment that I feel safe to be all of my professional self, including the vulnerable parts.
Practice description
As a Clinical Supervisor my intention is to offer qualified and Trainee Therapists a space where their strengths are nurtured and the challenges client work can bring them, are supported by me with compassion and honesty. I would work alongside you to encourage you to trust your instincts whilst exploring and learning more about your therapist self. My role is to recognise your strengths as well as supporting you emotionally and professionally whilst you navigate new or challenging therapeutic experiences. Coming from a creative background allows me to offer you an additional way of working in supervision sessions that can support your work with a client when sessions may feel stuck or challenging

About me and my therapy practice
I offer both short term and open ended sessions and tailor the sessions to your needs. Sessions can be face to face, online or by telephone. Whichever feels most comfortable for you.
I offer a free 15-20 minute online or telephone consultation to help us decide if we make a good fit to help you at this point in your life. If I feel that you would benefit more from being with someone different, I will discuss this with you in the initial consultation.
Practice description
As a person centred counsellor, my hope is to offer you a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental space to explore your wants and needs with kindness and understanding.
You are the expert of you and I would accompany you whilst you begin to understand yourself with more self compassion and self acceptance. We would explore what has brought you to therapy and help you make sense of what you are feeling with the intention of empowering you so you can move forwards from where you are now.
My first session
First sessions can bring up feelings of apprehension and anxiety and to support you in however you are experiencing yourself at our first meet, we can talk through what would be helpful to you. If we decide to will in a health assessment together, this may give you an opportunity to share how you experience yourself day to day with regards to your physical and emotional health, relationships, support networks and work situation. By initially inviting you to share these parts of your day to day with me, it can give us both a starting point to get to know each others' energy in a gentle and natural process.
