About me and my therapy practice

I offer CBT clinical supervision in a collaborative, supportive and reflective environment where practitioners can develop confidence, enhance their clinical skills and maintain high standards of ethical practice.

I believe that effective supervision is built on a strong supervisory relationship. My approach balances support, reflection and appropriate challenge, creating a space where practitioners can feel safe to explore their clinical work, celebrate strengths, and discuss areas of uncertainty or professional development.

As a supervisor, I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles while recognising the unique experiences, strengths and learning needs of each practitioner. I aim to support supervisees in developing their clinical reasoning, formulation skills, therapeutic interventions and reflective practice. I encourage curiosity, self awareness and ongoing professional growth.

Supervision sessions typically include discussion of clinical cases, CBT formulation, intervention planning, risk management, ethical considerations, professional development and practitioner wellbeing. I also recognise the importance of attending to the impact that clinical work can have on therapists, and I provide space for reflection on the personal and professional challenges that can arise in practice.

I welcome therapists at different stages of their professional journey, including trainees, newly qualified practitioners and experienced therapists seeking a reflective and collaborative supervisory relationship.

My aim is to create a supervisory relationship that supports both clinical effectiveness and professional wellbeing.

Whether you are seeking support with complex clinical work, developing your CBT skills, working towards accreditation, or maintaining good professional practice, I strive to provide a supervision experience that is thoughtful, encouraging and grounded in evidence based CBT practice.

Practice description

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about my practice.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about supporting practitioners to grow in confidence, competence and reflective practice. I provide a collaborative, supportive and professionally challenging space where therapists can develop their clinical skills, explore complex work and enhance their professional development.

I believe that effective supervision is built upon a strong supervisory relationship. My approach is warm, respectful and grounded in mutual trust. My supervision is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles and guided by curiosity, reflection and collaboration. I recognise that every practitioner brings unique strengths, experiences and learning needs, and I tailor supervision accordingly. Whether you are a trainee, newly qualified therapist or an experienced practitioner, I strive to offer supervision that is responsive to your stage of professional development and individual goals.

I understand that providing therapy can be both rewarding and demanding. Alongside clinical skill development, I value creating space to reflect on the impact of therapeutic work and the importance of maintaining personal and professional wellbeing. Supervision should not only support safe and effective practice but also contribute to a sustainable and fulfilling professional life.

If we decide to work together, our first session will focus on understanding your professional context, exploring your strengths and development goals, discussing current clinical work and establishing a framework for our supervision. My aim is to help therapists feel supported, challenged and empowered in their work, enabling them to provide effective, compassionate and evidence-based care to the clients they serve.

Helping therapists develop confidence, competence and reflective CBT practice.

My first session

Before We Begin

I believe that the supervisory relationship is central to effective and meaningful supervision. Before committing to ongoing supervision, I offer a 30 minute introductory consultation online.

This provides an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your supervision needs, professional background and expectations, and consider whether I am the right supervisor for you.

During this introductory meeting, we may explore:

• Your current role and clinical work

• Your previous experience of supervision

• What you are hoping to gain from supervision

• Any particular areas of development or challenge

• How I work as a CBT Clinical Supervisor

• Practical arrangements, including frequency of sessions and fees

There is no obligation to continue after this meeting. The aim is to ensure that we both feel the supervisory relationship is a good fit and can provide a safe, supportive and effective space for your professional development.

Example of a First Supervision Session

The first supervision session typically focuses on getting to know you as a practitioner and establishing a strong foundation for our work together. We may discuss:

• Your professional background and training

• Your current caseload and client population

• Your strengths, interests and areas for development

• Previous experiences of supervision

• Your learning and professional goals

• Ethical and confidentiality considerations

• How we will work together and review progress over time

We may also begin discussing current clinical work, including CBT formulation, therapeutic interventions and any challenges you would like support with.

My aim is to create a collaborative, reflective and supportive supervisory relationship that encourages confidence, clinical effectiveness and professional growth.
