Availability

As part of my BACP accredited clinical supervision training, I am offering free online clinical supervision sessions for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists.

I can offer 1.5 hours per calendar month, in line with BACP professional requirements.

This is suitable for BACP members looking to fulfil their 1.5 hours of monthly supervision requirement, and also for therapists who are interested in supplementing their current supervision.

About me and my therapy practice

As a supervisor, I aim to create a collaborate, warm and supportive space for us to focus on your clinical work, as seen from different perspectives, using The Seven Eyed Model of clinical supervision (Shohet and Hawkins).

This model is relational, focusing on the relationships between the client, therapist, and supervisor, and also systemic, because it zooms out and examines the interplay between each relationship and their context within the wider system.

My style of supervision

My style of supervision is built on Person-centred principles, that emphasise a collaborative and empathic relationship between us as supervisor and supervisee. Rooted in the principles of person-centred therapy, my approach will foster an environment of trust and openness, allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without fear of judgment.

I hope to encourage self-reflection and personal growth, while helping you to tap into your own resources and insights.

Practice description

What is supervision?

Clinical supervision is a vital process that ensures the quality and effectiveness of your therapeutic practice, as well as it being an important part of your self-care. It gives space, within a structured relationship, where you are able to deeply reflect on your work, enhance your skills, and address challenges.

This collaborative process aims to promote your professional development, and also to safeguard client welfare, by ensuring that ethical standards and best practices are upheld.
