We can discuss availability and what your needs in terms of supervision hours are.
I aim to create a kind, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment where you can safely process countertransference, ethical dilemmas, and deepen your practice.
I warmly welcome supervisees working across diverse client groups and am passionate about providing an affirmative space for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and clinical supervisor based in Edinburgh. I offer a supportive, reflective, and dynamic supervisory space for both qualified practitioners and trainees.
Alongside my work as a counsellor and supervisor, I feel a strong connection with the natural world and maintain my own active creative studio practice.
I'm interested in how creative practices enhance imagination and working as a therapist.
I am committed to providing a kind, inclusive, and affirmative space for therapists of all backgrounds, My goal is to foster a collaborative partnership that supports your professional growth and protects your well-being as a practitioner.
Grounded in psychodynamic principles, my supervisory style centres on the subtle, unconscious dynamics of the therapeutic relationship. As part of the work together, we closely examine transference, countertransference, and projective identification.
Using what emerges between you and your client (and within our own supervisory relationship) to illuminate complex client presentations, explore unconscious communications, and process difficult relational dynamics safely in order to support your practice and client work.
My background includes a PostGraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and Human Relations as well as a Master’s in Art Psychotherapy.
Combined with my personal art practice, this background gives me an appreciation for symbolic communication, metaphor, and creative ways to think through clinical impasses when standard verbal frameworks feel stuck.

Various Hours through the week please contact me.About me and my therapy practice
In person and online therapy. My approach is kind, non-judgmental and dynamic and I welcome people from any background, gender, race, status or culture.
I am trained in psychodynamic counselling, which specialises in how we humans get along with each other, and how we can be affected by our past. I’m also trained in working with trauma. Including understanding how the body responds emotionally and physically to stress.
Counselling and psychotherapy are evidence-based talking therapies that can help with many aspects of your life and mental health.
Making time for yourself to focus on what is important for you can be very useful. You may recognise that you are unhappy in some aspects of your life. Talking with a counsellor about what is going on for you can help overcome negative thoughts and feelings, and feel better about life. Talking in therapy can help with anxiety, depression, anger, low mood, stress and other aspects of life that you may find difficult, such as coping with physical health problems, unexpected change or loss of a loved one. Sometimes life challenges affect the way you feel and can seem overwhelming.
Practice description
Successful therapy can help you become more self-aware and gain a better understanding of yourself. As a result, you may find ways of doing things differently.
It is my role to support you towards a better understanding of your feelings, emotions and life situations.
I will be very supportive in helping you talk about your life. Relationships, culture, gender and sexuality lie at the core of who we are. However, it is often just those very aspects of our lives and culture that cause us difficulties.
My first session
The sessions are 50 mins. An initial session gives us a chance to meet and for you to talk about what has brought you to therapy. I will also ask you questions about yourself and your life. We will then talk about how to proceed.
There really is no one size fits. I prefer to work open-ended and believe this works best as it cannot be known exactly how many sessions will be needed.
