Hi, I’m Laura, a BACP-registered therapist offering Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). I work online or over the phone with adults in the UK and internationally, providing a calm and compassionate space to explore your inner and outer world.

I also offer some reduced-fee spaces. Please get in touch if this would be helpful for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a humanistic, non-pathologising, and evidence-based form of psychotherapy that understands us all as having different “parts,” each with its own feelings, roles, and intentions, alongside an innate core “self” where feelings like compassion and clarity live.

In our sessions, we will gently explore the different parts of you; the parts that protect you, carry pain, seek connection, hold joy, or feel difficult to reach on your own. Together, we’ll notice what you’re experiencing in the present and how past experiences, relationships, and patterns show up in your life today, making space for understanding, compassion, hope, and lasting change.

How I work

I offer a thoughtful and relational space for people navigating transitions, living through difficult times, or wanting to explore a deeper sense of who they are. I work gently and at your pace, creating room to explore whatever is emerging for you, even when things feel tangled, confusing, or hard to put into words.

I am mindful of how social, cultural, and relational contexts shape our inner lives. My practice is trauma-informed, culturally aware, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and supportive of neurodiversity. I also hold the mind–body connection as an important part of therapeutic work.

My work is grounded in advanced training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS Level 2), alongside years of experience working in a person-centred way. I am also informed by neuroscience, mindfulness, philosophy, Person-Centred Therapy, and aspects of Jungian psychology. I have a particular interest in archetypes, mythology, folklore, dreams, and our connection to land and place, which may gently weave into therapy where it feels meaningful for you.
