About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. I also provide supervision to professionals who are in a helping role using counselling skills.
I am a qualified counsellor with over seven years’ experience working across national charities and private practice. Alongside my independent practice, I also lead a counselling service within a charitable organisation, delivering short-term therapy across Scotland.
I trained at the University of Edinburgh, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Studies, and qualified as a Clinical Supervisor with Persona. I am fully insured.
My specialist experience is within grief, bereavement, self-esteem, terminal illness, and relationship issues. These relate to anxiety, low mood, and depression. I recommend a supervisor has experience related to your field and I am happy to answer questions related to my work in a consultation call.
Practice description
I offer reflective supervision grounded in the Person-Centred Approach. Working within a collaborative model to support you in exploring client work, ethical considerations, and your personal growth within your role.
A concession rate is provided to trainee counsellors which is £38 per hour.
Supervision sessions are available in-person in Glasgow City Centre or via online video call, providing flexibility to suit your requirements.

About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, I am an experienced therapist with a background in grief, bereavement, self-esteem and relationship issues.
I always appreciate how nerve-wracking it is contacting a therapist, please know you can ask me questions about how I work and how therapy might support you.
Sometimes we may not understand exactly how we are feeling - it may seem as if we are stuck, our inner voice talking harshly to ourselves as we never would say out loud to another, we can't seem to "move on" after losing a loved one, angry and confused with past or recent events, the future not looking like how we hoped, or living with a terminal illness.
I have worked with people, from all demographics, to support their capacity to cope with change, loss, and fear.
I qualified from the University of Edinburgh with a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Studies. For over three years I have helped shape and lead a counselling service within a National Scottish Charity. My previous experience includes a charity specialised in grief and bereavement counselling.
Practice description
I offer a non-judgemental and respectful space where you can explore your thoughts or concerns. We will discuss what you hope to gain from counselling, depending on your concerns we might look at past or recent events, thought patterns, behaviours, ways to cope, your relationship to yourself or to others.
I trained in two types of therapy, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapy. The way I work within both approaches is by helping you explore your feelings, thoughts and beliefs in an accepting space. I will be beside you as you take the brave step of entering therapy.
Counselling can be like the phrase, seeing the forest from the trees. We take a look at the trees one by one, whilst taking a step back to look at the forest.
I offer individual counselling sessions in-person, online or by phone. In-person sessions are held in Glasgow City Centre.
I can offer both short and long term counselling, we would talk about what might work best for you in the consultation. For some people, they find a few sessions are helpful, and for others longer term might be beneficial. We will regularly check-in and understand how worthwhile the sessions are for you.
My first session
To begin I offer a free of charge 30 minute consultation, this is a chance for you to ask me some questions and I will ask you a few questions. This call will hopefully help us decide if we will work together.
I send informative documents such as a Client Contract including GDPR. If you have any questions about these documents prior to agreeing to the terms of the service, please contact me.
Following a consultation, if we decide to work together we will make arrangements to begin short or long term therapy.
