About me and my therapy practice
I am currently a trainee supervisor, building on my experience as a BACP‑accredited counsellor and as a trainer who teaches and develops future therapists. My supervision work is grounded in my person‑centred roots, supported by trauma‑informed practice, neurobiology, and my experience as a Level 5 CBT practitioner.
Practice description
My intention as a supervisor is to offer a space that is collaborative, reflective, and attuned to your developmental needs. I work relationally, with warmth and clarity, supporting you to explore your client work, deepen your understanding, and strengthen your therapeutic presence. I draw on a range of integrative models and tools, but you set the pace and direction of the supervisory process.
As a trainee supervisor, I work under supervision myself and follow all ethical requirements to ensure safe, high‑quality practice. I welcome supervisees at different stages of training and development, and I aim to create a space where you feel supported, stretched, and professionally held. I work primarily from the Seven Eyed Model. This means that I am consistently aware of a variety of angles of the work you present in supervision.
My first session
I provide a free 20‑minute introductory discussion to help you decide whether I’m the right supervisor for you, and to ensure I have the appropriate knowledge and expertise to support your client work and developmental needs. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, understand my approach, and get a sense of whether the supervisory relationship feels like a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m a BACP‑accredited counsellor and Level 5 CBT practitioner, originally trained in person‑centred therapy, which remains the foundation of how I work. Alongside my clinical practice, I also teach and train future counsellors, keeping me closely connected to the theory, ethics, and reflective practice that underpin our profession.
I draw on person‑centred values, trauma‑informed practice, (I am trained in a version of EMDR called AMDR) neurobiology, attachment theory, and CBT‑based strategies to help you understand what’s happening for you and how to move forward.
You’ll have a clear sense of what we’re exploring together. My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative, I stay attuned to you and offer clarity and challenge when it’s helpful, so you never feel adrift in the process.
Practice description
I am trained and experienced in online and telephone counselling, and I work with the same warmth and attunement whether we meet on screen, by phone. I cannot offer face to face at this current time.
I offer weekly sessions and open ended work. We can agree on what seems to be the right amount of time you might need initially for your process and review this as we go along.
I offer outdoor therapy (walk‑and‑talk) for clients in the Swindon area, which some people find grounding and easier for reflection. If CBT is part of your goals, I can also provide exposure‑based work when it’s clinically appropriate and feels right for you.
Therapy with me is collaborative, steady, and grounded in respect. Together, we’ll make sense of your internal world and find a way through that feels manageable and meaningful.
I have a variety of integrative tools we can draw on, but you set the pace and direction.
