About me and my therapy practice

Clinical Supervision – Person-Centred | Seven-Eyed Model | IDM

I offer supervision for counsellors and therapists, grounded in a person‑centred approach and informed by the Seven‑Eyed Model and the Integrative Developmental Model (IDM). My aim is to provide a supportive, reflective space where you can explore your work, develop your practice, and feel resourced in the process.

I’m flexible with session times and can usually accommodate busy or changing schedules.

Supervision, for me, is a collaborative relationship — a place to pause, think, and gain perspective. I work in a warm, down‑to‑earth way, balancing support with gentle challenge, and adapting my approach to your level of experience and the way you work.

What I offer

A safe, non‑judgemental space to reflect on your client work

A focus on ethical practice, your wellbeing, and your professional development

Support tailored to trainees and qualified practitioners

A relational, open, and curious approach

I welcome therapists from a range of modalities. Our first meeting is an informal conversation to explore what you’re looking for and to see whether we’re a good fit.

My first session

Initial Session

I offer a free, informal mini session as an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your supervision needs, and explore whether we’re a good fit to work together. This session is designed to be relaxed and pressure-free.

To help understand your preferences and requirements, I also provide an enquiry form that can be completed either via email or together in person, depending on what suits your learning style best. This approach ensures that your supervision is tailored from the start, setting a strong foundation for our ongoing work.

Ongoing Sessions & Fees

Ongoing clinical supervision sessions are priced fairly to support accessibility and your professional development.

I offer 1.5-hour supervision sessions at £65, providing ample time for in-depth reflection and discussion.

To support trainees and emerging counsellors, a concessionary rate is available, reflecting my commitment to making supervision accessible at different stages of your journey.

If you have any questions about fees or would like to discuss payment options, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I am fully accredited counsellor working online and in person to support people in the way that supports them.   I offer two session lengths as I have found that a traditional session may not always meet a persons needs.   Sessions can be paced to meet individual circumstances, including single sessions, weekly, fortnightly and monthly.   I work with counselling students and also have enhanced qualifications in clinical supervision.

I am also a 'BUPA recognised counsellor' and clients who are looking for support through their policy can find me here: Bupa: Consultant and Facilities Finder.

These are a few of smaller testimonials that clients have offered to me to share to demonstrate their experience in counselling with a view to help others who are choosing to commence counselling.

‘Just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me on my journey to a better version off myself that is benefiting my family and me and I appreciate you and your brilliant way of " therapy" it has truly helped change my life. And if I ever feel like I need help in the future I shall contact you’

Client testimonial July AM  2025

'I reached out to Pippa through the Counselling Directory website in 2023 having had some very stressful issues at work that was also affecting my home life. Pippa got back in touch very quickly to arrange an initial session. She has been an incredible support to me and has helped me work through the stresses I was facing as well as relationship support and grief when I lost a parent. I find the setting to be a comfortable and safe space and always feel supported and listened to. For anyone nervous about starting to talk to someone, I would highly recommend Pippa as a genuine, caring, and knowledgeable person.'

Client testimonial November AP 2024

'When I first found Pippa, I was not in a very good place, with her professionalism, care and expertise she enabled me to climb out of a very dark hole'

Whether you are in healthcare, education, social care or another caring profession, I offer a supportive environment to process your experiences and maintain your own wellbeing.

My first session

In our first session, we’ll explore what has brought you to counselling at this time and begin to understand what you’re hoping to gain from the process. I’ll also complete an initial assessment with you (or this can be commenced online), which includes using a brief assessment tool to help measure and monitor psychological distress at that point and over time.

This session is also a chance to outline how we’ll work together and to ensure that counselling is the right service for you. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and supported — I believe effective counselling depends on a genuine connection. I only continue working with clients who feel we’re a good fit and who are benefitting from the process.

I offer concessions for students.
