About me and my therapy practice
I am qualified Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist (CTA) and Supervisor. I work with both individuals and couples and specialise in working relationally and I offer one-to-one and group supervision to psychotherapists, counsellors, trainees and mental health/wellbeing professionals.
My supervisory approach is relational, supportive, empathic, and gently challenging. It is grounded in my core framework of Relational TA, which can offer insight to therapists working across a range of modalities. My focus as a supervisor is on supporting you to explore your present experience of being a therapist and being with your clients. This includes both the conscious and the unconscious elements.
In supervision, we can explore how you might work relationally, consider psychodynamics, notice transference, hold boundaries, look after your wellbeing and wrestle with any ethical dilemmas arising in your work.
I also have a keen interest in supporting training therapists, including with exam preparation and academic writing.
I am an experienced UKCP Registered Psychotherapist with many years experience prior to qualifying, working in various mental health and wellbeing settings (including charities, universities, schools, adult mental health services, LGBTQ+ therapy services, and support for asylum seekers & refugees).

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Psychotherapist & Counsellor and I specialize in working Relationally: supporting individuals better understand the way they relate with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
For the past 13 years I have worked across mental health, wellbeing and therapeutic roles, including: in private therapy practice, at a community counselling centre, LGBTQ+ therapeutic services, a creative arts university, an engineering university, adult mental health services, secondary schools, and support for asylum seekers and refugees.
As well as working with individuals, I also specialize in working with couples & relationships, and am a clinical supervisor for other counsellors and therapists.
I am a member of the BACP and I hold a MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London. I also have the following qualifications: Level 7 Post-Grad Diploma in TA Psychotherapy; Level 6 Post-Grad Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling; Certificate in Couples & Relationship Therapy; Diploma in Clinical Supervision (currently completing).
Practice description
I work in a way that is relational, empathic and non-judgmental. As you bring your thoughts and feelings I will hold space for them, ask questions that might help us learn more, and offer reflections. I also believe that authenticity in the relationship involves gentle challenge, and that honest feedback can evoke meaningful change. Therefore empathy and challenge are at the heart of the therapy.
In our sessions I integrate different models of therapy, tailored to what you might need. One of these models is called Transactional Analysis: an approach that helps us understand the ways we relate with ourselves and others. We can also explore the connection between your body and mind, and use creativity as a way to access feelings that are harder to reach. Together, we can give space for thoughts and emotions to emerge, make meaning of your experiences, and find ways forwards.
I work with a broad range of topics, but some of the areas I have in depth experience in working with include: Relationships, Anxiety, LGBTQ+ identity, Sexuality, Intimacy, Spirituality, Culture, Religion, Shame, Depression, Stress, Family, Friendships, Bereavement, Belonging, Difficult Emotions, Anger, Mental health, Intergenerational Friction, Trauma, Abuse, Self-confidence, Fear, Change, Work or Studies, and Life decisions.
Individual therapy - £85 per session
Individual therapy (students & under 30s) - £80 per session
Introductory session: £50
Couples therapy - £115 per session
Clinical Supervision - £75 per session
All sessions are 50minutes.
I also accept payment via health insurance providers AXA, Aviva, Alliance, WPA and Vitality.

If you need a slightly different format in order to be able to access therapy, we can discuss what might work best for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Therapy is a safe space for you to bring any thoughts, feelings or experiences you would like to talk about. I work in a way that is relational, empathic and non-judgmental, offering genuine care for those I work with. I will be fully present with you in the room during the sessions. This involves listening, reflecting back, offering thoughts, and gently challenging where helpful. Together we can make meaning of your experiences, explore hard-to-reach emotions and find ways forwards through difficulties.
