About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is an essential part of our working lives as counsellors and psychotherapists; it ensures ethical and responsible practice and is a requirement for BACP registration.
I work relationally and integratively, adopting a reflective and supportive approach. I utilise the seven-eye model, exploring parallel process and what is co-created on a micro and macro level. Sessions offer both an educative and restorative element, and help to model a way of being with clients.
I have experience with qualified practitioners and trainees on different programmes. I facilitate both small-group and individual work.
I hold a Certificate in Clinical Supervision from Metanoia Institute.
I welcome your enquiry and look forward to hearing from you.

About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for visiting my profile page and for your interest in personal therapy.
My name is Debs and I am an experienced psychotherapist. I provide a safe, compassionate environment for you to bring any issues affecting your well-being.
We work collaboratively towards your goals, whilst remaining open to what occurs in the context of the client-therapist relationship. Together we can explore difficult feelings and experiences, and identify potential blocks to living a fuller life.
My approach:
I work relationally and integratively, tailoring my approach to each client. I incorporate aspects of psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential therapy. I combine this with elements of neuroscience and the evidence-based relationship between brain and body.
I believe that the past is alive in the present, influencing and steering our present-day experiences. I also believe that our earliest relationships can have a major impact on our life trajectory and our degree of daily struggle. This can be held in the body, governing our sense of connection and our capacity to feel satisfied, and safe. It can also influence how we navigate universal human concerns, such as death, purpose, and meaning.
I consider therapy to be a process of repair and reconnection. This can feel painful at times, and requires a good therapeutic relationship, with a deep sense of trust.
My training:
I trained at Metanoia Institute in London and have an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy.
I also have a Certificate in Clinical Supervision, a Certificate in Clinical Assessment, and a Degree in Psychology.
I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development, and I undertake regular CPD to expand and update my knowledge.
My experience:
I have many years of experience with a local charity and I have also worked within NHS and private psychiatric settings. My private practice is based in Crowthorne, Berkshire.
I welcome your enquiry and look forward to hearing from you.
