About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in offering neurodivergent-affirming supervision, supporting counsellors who identify as autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexic, or who are exploring their neurodivergence later in life.

I offer a supportive and collaborative space where you can reflect on your clinical work, explore challenges and develop confidence in your professional practice. Whether you're a trainee, newly qualified or experienced counsellor, supervision is tailored to your individual needs and stage of development.

My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed, recognising that our own experiences, emotions and ways of processing information can influence the therapeutic relationship. Together, we can explore these areas with curiosity and without judgement, while keeping ethical practice and client wellbeing at the centre of our work.

My supervisory experience includes therapeutic work with adults, children and young people, as well as couples.

Whether you have a formal diagnosis, self-identify as neurodivergent or are beginning to explore this aspect of yourself, supervision offers an opportunity to reflect on how your own experiences, strengths and challenges may influence your therapeutic work.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed and non-pathologising. I recognise that neurodivergent practitioners may experience particular challenges, including masking, overwhelm, emotional fatigue and navigating professional expectations. Supervision provides space to explore these experiences without judgement, while developing confidence in your own way of working.

My aim is to provide a space where you feel supported, understood and appropriately challenged, while maintaining a strong focus on ethical practice and client wellbeing.

Practice description

Clinical Supervision for Trainees, Qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

I am a leading Specialist Neurodivergent Supervisor. Sessions are designed for both trainee and fully qualified counsellors.

Wherever you are in your counselling journey, I offer a supportive and reflective space to explore your clinical work, your professional identity, and your experience of self — including how your own traits may show up within the therapeutic relationship.

This service is suitable for counsellors who are formally diagnosed, self-identified, or exploring neurodivergence, and is offered in a way that is affirming, respectful, and non-pathologising.

My supervision approach is trauma-informed and grounded in ethical frameworks. I support supervisees working with:

Complex trauma and PTSD

Sexual abuse and sexual violence

Attachment trauma

Neurodivergent clients with co-occurring trauma

High-risk or emotionally demanding work

Supervision provides a space to reflect on emotional impact, transference and countertransference, safeguarding concerns, and professional boundaries.

Support for your counselling practice

Alongside clinical supervision, I offer private practice consultancy and practice development through Counselling Business Solutions. Whether you’re setting up your practice or looking for fresh direction, explore practical, tailored support to help you move forward with confidence.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute introductory consultation, giving us an opportunity to meet, discuss your supervision needs and consider whether we would be a good fit.

During this initial conversation, we can explore your current stage of training or professional practice, the client groups you work with, your previous experiences of supervision and any particular areas where you would welcome additional support.

If you are neurodivergent, or exploring the possibility of ADHD, autism or other neurodivergent traits, we can also discuss any preferences or adjustments that might help you feel comfortable and supported in supervision. There is no requirement to disclose a diagnosis.

Before commencing regular supervision, I will ask you to complete a short registration form and we will agree a supervision contract covering confidentiality, ethical responsibilities, professional requirements and practical arrangements.

My aim is to establish a collaborative supervisory relationship where you feel able to reflect openly, ask questions and develop confidence in your clinical work.
