About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Emma, a neurodivergent therapist, coach and supervisor dedicated to helping other therapists, coaches and organisations maintain meaningful and inspiring practice in and around the neurodiverse community.
In my therapy practice, I specialize in working with neurodiverse adults (diagnosed or undiagnosed) and those with long-term or chronic illness such as Fibromyalgia, ME, chronic burnout or Chronic Fatigue.
My supervision style is rooted in the Seven-Eyed Model, providing a collaborative and reflective space that encourages growth, insight, and professional development.
I also offer 'one off' or 'top up' adhoc supervision for practitioners who already have a main supervisor, but feel stuck with a neurodivergent/chronically ill client and would like specific, short-term intervention.
Practice description
I work online with individuals or with groups, Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. I run an inclusive practice, offering high challenge blended with high support.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm Emma (she/her), founder of Selfhood Counselling and Coaching! As a late-diagnosed (AuDHD) dual-practitioner, I provide personalised, neuro-affirming therapy and coaching that effectively supports healthy independence, nurtures growth and encourages sustainable change.
Whether you choose counselling, coaching, or a mixture of both, our sessions will give you a deeper understanding of yourself and a strong foundation for a meaningful future.
I know first-hand the trials of navigating life and mental health services undiagnosed, so, through training and years of experience I've learned to effectively tailor traditional strategies and resources to your unique brain and nervous system.
I help my clients find a home within themselves, so that they can take safety, self-worth and meaning into every aspect of their lives. Together, we'll work on setting goals and exploring the strategies that work for you.
Some of my clients have left beautiful reviews on my website! Feel free to take a look, and if I seem to be the right fit for you, go ahead and contact me; I will be pleased to get back to you ASAP.
Specialisms
