Practice description

I provide clinical supervision for counsellors and therapists, primarily online, working with practitioners across the UK and internationally. Face-to-face supervision in London may also be available by arrangement.

My aim is to offer a supportive, reflective and collaborative space where you can explore your client work, professional development and therapeutic practice.

My supervision is relational in focus and informed by the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision. I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives to support reflection, deepen understanding and help practitioners develop confidence and effectiveness in their work.

Finding the right supervisor is an important part of professional development, and I believe rapport and trust are central to a productive supervisory relationship.

If you would like to explore whether we may be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation.

Supervision is available by video or telephone, with email, text or live chat contact where appropriate. Face-to-face sessions in London may also be available by arrangement.

My first session

In our **first supervision session**, my aim is to create a supportive, reflective and collaborative space where you feel comfortable exploring your professional needs, challenges and goals.

We will spend some time discussing your background, experience and what you are looking for from supervision. This helps me understand how best to support you and allows us to begin developing a way of working together that feels useful and appropriate.

Whether you are seeking supervision to support professional growth, deepen your therapeutic effectiveness or reflect on complex client work, we will clarify your expectations and what you would like to gain from the supervisory relationship.

**Establishing rapport** is an important part of supervision. As in therapy, the quality of the relationship matters, so we will take time to ensure there is a good fit and that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward.

We will also discuss practical matters such as session structure, frequency, confidentiality, boundaries and any other arrangements relevant to our work together.

The first session is an opportunity to begin building a strong foundation for a thoughtful, supportive and productive supervision relationship.

About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting my work to the individual needs of each client. Central to my practice is creating a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences and patterns of behaviour at their own pace.

My approach may include elements of:

• **Psychodynamic and Humanistic Therapies:** These approaches allow us to explore how past experiences and relationships may influence the present, while also supporting personal growth, self-awareness and greater self-acceptance.

• **Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed Parts Work:** I use IFS-informed approaches to help clients become curious about the different parts of themselves and the roles those parts may have developed over time. This can encourage greater self-compassion, understanding and emotional healing.

• **EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing):** EMDR can be particularly helpful when working with trauma and distressing experiences, supporting clients in processing difficult memories and reducing the emotional impact they may continue to carry.

• **Clinical Hypnotherapy:** Where appropriate, I may incorporate clinical hypnotherapy to support positive change and help clients work with deeply held thoughts, feelings and patterns. It can be particularly useful in areas such as anxiety, confidence and self-esteem.

My first session

In your first counselling session with me, my aim is to create a safe, comfortable and non-judgemental space where you can begin to talk openly about what has brought you to therapy.

We will spend some time getting to know each other, and I will explain how I work, my therapeutic approach, and what you can expect from future sessions. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns.

The main focus of the session will be on understanding what has brought you to counselling, the difficulties or challenges you may currently be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

This helps us begin to develop a way of working together that is suited to your individual needs, at a pace that feels right for you.
