Availability

I currently have availability for new supervisees. I work Monday to Friday, with some evening slots available. Sessions are offered online or face-to-face in Chatham, Medway.

I offer supervision in English or Polish.

If you're looking for supervision and want to see if we're a good fit, get in touch. We can arrange a brief initial conversation to talk through what you're looking for and whether this feels right.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm an NCPS/BACP integrative therapist and qualified clinical supervisor based in Chatham.

My clinical work is with men and couples. I've worked with men for years - particularly those who struggle to name what they're feeling, let alone talk about it. With couples, I bring in some coaching alongside therapy because sometimes people need practical tools, not just exploration.

That background shapes how I supervise - I'm comfortable with relational complexity, gender dynamics, attachment playing out between two people in real time. I'm also trained in online supervision, so if you work remotely or in blended settings, I know that territory.

I'm Polish, grew up there, trained here. I've got one foot in the "just get on with it" culture I came from and one foot in this work that asks people to sit with feelings they'd rather not have. That tension's useful sometimes - in my practice, in supervision.

Practice description

I supervise because I've been doing this work long enough to have something useful to share, and because I remember what it felt like to bring difficult sessions to supervision and not want to sound incompetent.

Supervision with me isn't a box-ticking exercise. It's not about me checking you're doing things "right" or you performing competence you don't feel yet. It's a space to actually think about the work - what's happening with your clients, what's happening in you, what you're not sure about.

I work integratively and draw on different frameworks when they're useful (Seven-Eyed Model, IDM), but mostly I'm interested in what's actually going on in the room with your clients. The stuff that's hard to name. The sessions that didn't go how you expected. The clients you're not sure you can help.

We talk about your clients. We pay attention to what's happening between you and your clients, and what that might mean. We think about risk, ethics, the stuff you're carrying that maybe you shouldn't be. We talk about your confidence, your boundaries, how sustainable this work actually is for you.

I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to think with you.

I work with trainees, newly qualified therapists, and experienced practitioners - anyone doing this work honestly. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, online or face-to-face in Medway, in English or Polish.

If you want supervision that's steady and relational rather than performative, get in touch.

My first session

We'll start with a conversation - not a formal assessment, just talking about what you're looking for from supervision, what kind of work you're doing, and whether this feels like a good fit.

I don't charge for this initial conversation. It's usually about 20 minutes, and it gives us both a sense of whether we can work together.

If it feels right, we'll arrange regular supervision sessions. If it doesn't, that's fine too.

The first proper supervision session works the same as any other - 60 or 90 minutes, same rate. You can bring a case, or we can use it to talk about what you need from supervision more broadly. Whatever's most useful.

About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Often people come because something isn’t working anymore, a relationship feels stuck, anxiety is getting louder, or life has shifted and old ways of coping aren’t enough. My role is to offer a steady, grounded space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have all the answers.

I work in a direct, human, and collaborative way. I’m warm and supportive, but I’m also active in sessions, I’ll reflect what I notice, ask questions that gently challenge patterns, and help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy with me isn’t about endless talking in circles; it’s about understanding yourself more clearly and finding ways to move forward that actually fit your life.

My work is integrative, drawing mainly from person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches. In practice, that means we pay attention both to what’s happening now and where certain patterns may have come from, while also focusing on practical change. I don’t follow a fixed formula, we shape the work around you (or around you both, if you’re coming as a couple).

Alongside individual therapy, I offer couples counselling, working with partners who feel disconnected, stuck in repeated arguments, or unsure how to communicate without things escalating or shutting down. I help couples slow things down, understand what’s really being triggered, and begin having more honest and meaningful conversations.

I offer face-to-face sessions in Medway, as well as online therapy. Some people value the grounding of being in the same room; others prefer the flexibility of online work, both can be effective, and we can talk about what suits you best.

If you’re feeling unsure whether therapy is right for you, that’s okay. Many people I work with start from exactly that place.

Practice description

My practice is a place where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you, without needing to have everything worked out in advance. People come feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or frustrated with patterns that keep repeating in their lives or relationships.

I work in an active and collaborative way. I am not a passive listener who simply sits back and nods. I listen carefully, ask questions, reflect what I notice, and offer observations that can help you see things more clearly. At times I will gently challenge you, especially when something feels important but difficult to look at. The aim is not to push, but to support change rather than just talk about it.

Depending on what you need, we may look at past experiences and how they still shape your reactions today, or focus more on what is happening in the present and how to respond differently. I also help you develop practical ways of managing emotions, communicating more effectively, and making changes that feel realistic rather than overwhelming.

Alongside individual therapy, I work with couples who feel stuck in repeated arguments, emotional distance, or breakdowns in communication. In sessions, I help slow things down, make sense of what is happening underneath the conflict, and support more honest and constructive conversations.

I offer face to face sessions in Medway as well as online therapy. If you are unsure what to expect from therapy, I will take time to explain how we will work and check that the approach feels right for you.

My aim is to offer therapy that is supportive, engaged, and genuinely helpful, not just a space to talk, but a place where things can start to shift.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel uncertain, especially if you have never done it before. The first session is a chance for us to get a sense of each other and to decide whether working together feels right for you.

Before booking a session, I offer a free 20-minute phone or Zoom consultation. This is an informal conversation where you can tell me a bit about what is bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and hear how I work. There is no pressure to commit. It is simply a way to see whether this feels like a good fit.

In the first full session, I will take an active role in helping us understand what you are coming in with. We will talk about what has brought you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you would like to get out of the work. I may ask questions to help clarify things, but this is not an assessment in the medical sense, and there are no right or wrong answers.

We will also go through the practical side of our work together, including confidentiality, boundaries, and fees, so everything is clear from the start.

You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Some people like to make notes, others prefer to see what comes up on the day. Both are fine. You are free to share at your own pace, and I will help guide the session so it feels contained and manageable.

Towards the end of the session, we will talk about next steps. If we decide to continue, we can agree on how often to meet and what the focus of the work might be. If it does not feel like the right fit, that is okay, and I can help you think about other options.

My aim in the first session is to help you feel supported, understood, and clear about what working with me would be like.
