About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Kim (she/her) – Clinical Supervisor, Integrative Counsellor and trainer

If you’re looking for a supervisor who brings warmth, curiosity, and realness to the table, you might be in the right place. I’m a qualified Clinical Supervisor and an integrative counsellor in private practice, offering supervision that’s collaborative, reflective, and rooted in mutual respect. Whether you're just starting out or years into your counselling career, I offer a supportive space where you can show up as your full, messy, thoughtful, insightful self.

How I work

I use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision as the backbone of my approach. It gives us a flexible and well-rounded way to explore your client work, relationships, inner responses, and the wider systems you’re working within. I also work from a trauma-informed perspective, and I bring my experience as a Mental Health First Aid instructor into the room. That means I understand the emotional toll this work can take, and I’ll always hold space for you as a human, not just a therapist.

I’m here to ask thoughtful questions, offer gentle challenges, and remind you of your strengths when you lose sight of them. Supervision with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to come as you are.

A little about me

Before moving into private practice, I worked in learning and development roles in children and young people’s services. That background continues to shape my supervision style. I care deeply about creating spaces that are growth-focused, empowering, and grounded in real-world practice.

As a therapist, I’ve supported clients through cancer diagnoses, grief and bereavement, trauma, anxiety, identity work, and more. I know the weight that can come with this job, and I know how vital it is to have someone in your corner.

About me and my therapy practice

Hey there, I'm Kim (she/her), a dedicated and empathetic Humanistic Counsellor with a heartfelt passion for assisting individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery.

Life can throw some tough stuff at us, right? I get it and I'm here to provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to figure it all out. Having seen the ups and downs alongside cancer patients and their families at MacMillan and through my work at a suicide bereavement group, I've got a unique perspective on the emotional rollercoaster life can be.

Some of the things I have worked with:

  • Coping with cancer diagnosis and treatment
  • Managing emotional distress and anxiety
  • Grief, loss, and bereavement
  • Self-esteem and self-acceptance
  • Exploring life transitions and identity

Practice description

What is a session with me like?

The relationship between client and counsellor is one of my main priorities and it is so important you choose the right counsellor for you. So, if you are wondering what a session with me is like, I'm all about Humanistic Therapy, which means you're the star of the show. I'm here to listen, understand, and offer a hand to hold while you unpack those thoughts and feelings. You are the expert in your own life and hold the answers within, it’s my job to support and empower you to find them. I pride myself on creating a safe space where you can be your authentic self, free from judgement and share at your own pace. I can also work in an integrative way, using techniques from other types of therapy if needed meaning you will have a unique experience tailored to you and your needs.

Whether you prefer virtual or face-to-face, I've got you covered. Sessions usually run around 50 minutes and we can find a time that works for both of us.

Life's a journey – and it would be an honour to be part of yours. If you're ready to take the first step towards healing, and growth, let’s connect. Your story matters, and it would be a privilege to hear it.

My first session

If you think we might be a good fit, please feel free to get in touch for a no obligation conversation. This can be a 20 minute phone or video call.
