About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Level 6 Supervisor who can offer support to both trainee counsellors and more experienced therapists. I have experience of working in schools, colleges, counselling agencies and in private work.

The supervision I offer is well-structured and follows the Hawkins Seven Eyed Model, focusing on the individual processes of the supervisee and supervisor.

I will support your casework and ethical ways of working, looking at self-care and reflective practice and your professional development and CPD needs. As needed, I will also complete reports requested by you, for colleges and other agencies.

Practice description

As a supervisor, I am Integrative. My practice is informed by my Level 4 Person-centred training and my Level 5 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy certificate. I have extensive experience of working with children and young people. Also working with adults and supporting families.

I offer a professional space for supervision, either via online or telephone therapy or in-person at a comfortable office location. I mainly offer monthly sessions of 1.5 hours but will be flexible according to your clinical needs and following the guidance of the BACP Ethical Framework or your own professional organisation.

My first session

I would start building a collaborative and supportive relationship with you, exploring how we could work together and agreeing a contract. This would be reviewed regularly to ensure it was continuing to meet your needs in supervision.

I would be interested in finding out how you work and what is important to you in your own clinical practice.
