About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision (across all modalities) for psychotherapists and counsellors, coaches or anyone working in a supporting role.
I see supervision as a vital part of professional development, helping you to grow your learning and skills, and your client base, as well as offering important support for both your and your client's wellbeing. It is a space to better understand your clinical work, as well as to reflect on the therapeutic situations and relationships you are forming at work.
Using a relational and dialogic approach, I focus on building a solid, open and relaxed partnership with my supervisees, as we work together to understand and support them in their role. I can also use a range of active, creative techniques informed by the psychodramatic approach to supervision to open up new possibilities and avenues of thinking and understanding that are not always as available simply through dialogue. I am particularly interested in movement based approaches and how movement informs our somatic experience with our clients.
I have a range of supervision experience, working with psychotherapists and counsellors, as well as front-line health care workers supporting homelessness and addiction. I have worked with both individuals and groups and really enjoy the uniqueness of the supervisory relationship, as well as the opportunity it brings for learning on all sides.
