About me and my therapy practice
I offer psychodynamic clinical supervision to qualified therapists and trainees who would value a thoughtful, confidential and reflective space to explore their clinical work.
I aim to create a supervisory relationship in which you can think openly and honestly about your work, including uncertainty, difficulty and moments when you may feel stuck. I see supervision not simply as a place to review client cases, but as an opportunity to deepen clinical understanding and develop your capacity to think therapeutically.
I work online from my own private consulting room.
Practice description
Supervision can be particularly useful for practitioners seeking to develop a deeper psychodynamic understanding of their clinical work, whether they are relatively new to practice or more experienced.
My supervision is tailored to the individual practitioner and their stage of professional development. I offer a balance of support, challenge and thoughtful reflection, with the aim of helping supervisees develop both their clinical practice and their confidence as practitioners.
My first session
An initial session provides an opportunity for us to meet, discuss your experience and professional background, and consider what you are looking for from supervision. We can explore your current clinical practice, supervision requirements and any particular areas you would like support with.
It is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my approach and for us to consider whether the supervisory relationship feels like a good fit. We can discuss practical arrangements, including frequency, session length and the way you would like to use supervision.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and tutor. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore the difficulties that may be affecting your life, relationships and sense of self.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, holding a masters degree in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling (BACP-accredited), as well as a Diploma in Clinical Supervision, and further training in relationship therapy, group analysis, fertility issues, baby loss and forensic psychotherapy. My work is underpinned by the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring I practice safely, ethically and with integrity.
Psychodynamic therapy provides an opportunity to look beyond immediate difficulties and to consider unconscious processes, underlying thoughts, feelings, experiences and relationship patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties. I work alongside you with curiosity, and together we can develop a greater insight and deeper understanding of who you are, what you are experiencing and explore possibilities for personal growth.
In addition to my private practice, I also work as a tutor in higher education and as a clinical supervisor and mentor working with both qualified and trainee therapists.
Individual therapy from £80.
Couples/relationship therapy from £100.
Group therapy and supervision rates upon request.
Practice description
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative and tailored to each individual. I believe that therapy is most effective when there is space to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship in which difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored openly and at your own pace.
Whether you are in a crisis, facing a specific difficulty or have a more general sense that something in your life is not quite right, therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, gain insight and a deeper understanding of yourself.
Some of the areas I work with are anxiety, stress, depression, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self esteem and low confidence, loss and bereavement, complex trauma, difficulties with identity, sexuality and fertility issues.
My first session
The first session provides an opportunity for us to meet and begin to understand what has brought you to therapy. We can talk about your current concerns, relevant aspects of your personal and past history, and what you would hope to gain from therapy.
It is also a chance for you to experience how it feels to work with me. I will explain how I work, including the practical arrangements and boundaries of therapy, and we can consider whether psychodynamic psychotherapy feels appropriate for you.
You are welcome to talk about whatever feels most important to you, at your own pace. At the end of the session, we can discuss whether continuing therapy together would feel helpful and, if so, consider the most appropriate way forward.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychodynamic counselling tutor and lecturer with extensive experience teaching within universities, higher education settings and charitable organisations.
I work with students at different stages of their counselling/psychotherapy education, from those developing their foundational understanding of psychodynamic ideas through to more advanced students seeking to deepen their theoretical and clinical knowledge.
I can support students with understanding complex theoretical material, developing academic and critical thinking, applying theory to clinical practice, preparing presentations and assignments, and developing confidence in discussing clinical material.
My approach is encouraging but intellectually challenging. I aim to help students move beyond simply learning theoretical concepts towards developing the ability to think psychodynamically and apply ideas thoughtfully to individual clinical situations.
Practice description
Individual tuition, group teaching, workshops, seminars and guest lectures can be discussed according to requirements.
Please get in touch to discuss your teaching, tutoring or lecturing requirements and how I might support your learning or educational programme.
