About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly experienced, registered, accredited Integrative psychotherapist and supervisor. My core training is Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic. I have undertaken further training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
My therapeutic approach is very much focused on you and working at your pace and we will look at tools and strategies from a range of therapeutic approaches which are best suited to your needs.
Practice description
I have extensive experience of supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties and believe in the importance of building genuine and transparent relationships, working at relational depth to help facilitate change. The issues I work with are many and varied and clients goals are fundamentally 'to feel better' and live a more enriched and fuller life. How this is achieved and the therapeutic strategies employed will be unique and individual to every client.
I believe in the importance of working from an authentic and transparent standpoint connecting with people on a meaningful level, with a genuine understanding of some of the difficulties they may be facing. My therapeutic practice focuses on enabling you to work through the issues that may be holding you back and move towards a brighter future.
My first session
I been in practice over 20 years and have worked with many people with a wide variety of issues. During our first session together, we will begin to devise a working formulation of your difficulties and explore which therapeutic approaches may be best suited to helping you feel better, in whatever way that may look like for you.
