About me and my therapy practice
I'm Ruth a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor based in Weybridge, Surrey. I work with children, teenagers, and adults, providing a warm, non-judgemental space to explore difficult emotions, life challenges, or personal growth at your own pace.
I am a qualified Integrative Counselling and have additional training in Play Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). My integrative approach means I draw from a range of therapeutic models—tailoring sessions to meet each client’s individual needs.
Practice description
I am currently a trainee supervisor currently completing my supervision training and am looking to work with supervisees who would like supportive, collaborative, and reflective supervision at a reduced rate.
Alongside my clinical experience as a therapist, I undertake supervised supervision of my own supervisory practice, ensuring that the work I offer is ethically grounded, well-supported, and aligned with professional standards. I am committed to creating a safe, thoughtful space where you can explore your client work, develop your professional identity, and grow in confidence.
My approach to supervision is integrative, relational, and reflective. I aim to support you in:
• Deepening your understanding of client work
• Developing your clinical skills and confidence
• Exploring ethical practice and professional dilemmas
• Reflecting on the therapeutic relationship and use of self
• Maintaining resilience and wellbeing in your work
I welcome trainees and qualified counsellors/psychotherapists from a range of modalities.
As a trainee supervisor, I offer sessions at a reduced fee while I complete my training requirements.
If you are looking for a supportive and collaborative supervisory relationship, I would be happy to hear from you.
Please feel free to get in touch for an informal conversation.
My first session
I practice from my clinic in Weybridge and offer daytime and evenings appointments.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where you can decide if you think we will be able to work together. This also provides an opportunity for us to discuss what you want from your supervision and how we can make it effective.
