About me and my therapy practice

Hi my name is Tasha, I am Supervisor, with 10 years counselling experience. I offer support to therapists, Counsellors, pastoral staff & people within Helping professions. The course uses Hawkins & Shohets 7 Eyed Supervision model and Page & Wosket's Cyclical Model.

I offer 1 to 1 Supervision with the above models but also  incorporating Relational, Integrative and Play  Therapy approaches, for therapists and counsellors working with adults, adolescences and children. I offer a warm, friendly and safe space either face to face, online or with Walk & Talk.

I am an Accredited MBACP counsellor and follow the ethical framework. I use a range of methods depending on the individual needs ranging from talking therapy, play therapy and elements taken from other modalities over the years,

I specialsie with working with Neurodivergent people and have trained in a specialist play therapy called Autplay Therapy devised specifically for Autism and other neurodivergent people. I am confident that I can support therapists working with the Neurodivergent community.

I attend a monthly CPD/Supervision session specifically on Autism/ADHD.

I also have vast experience in working with famileis who are/have suffered Domestic abuse, Looked after/Adopted children and am DDP level 1 (Dyadic developmental psychotherapy) trained.

Practice description

At this time I work from a room at home which is completely private. It is a warm and inviting space but is also equipped to work in a playful way. I also offer online services which enables me to work with anyone regardless of their location.

I happy to offer a Walk & Talk Service or a more blended approach of this and in the therapy room.

I try to be creative in my approach and I encourage thinking outside the box when working with therapists/counsellors, to make Supervision as accessible and reflective as possible.

My first session

When you 1st get in touch with me I offer a 20 minute free get to know me meeting either on the phone or via online services.

I will then offer an introductory 90min supervision session, this is more of a get to know each other session to see if we are compatible in our styles and personality, I believe this is important within Supervision before any commitments are agreed.

There is no obligation after this session to book more sessions I'm happy for you to process the session, have a think about how it went and if I am the right Supervisor for you, there is no pressure.

If you feel you want to proceed we will then agree a contract that works for us both. However I insist on a minimum 6 month period to begin with, and I will also give 3 months notice on any termination of the Supervisory relationship.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi my name is Tasha and I offer 1 to 1 counselling of an Integrative Approach for Adults, adolescences and children. I offer a warm, friendly and safe space (online also) for people to come and with my help make sense of what is going on for them in their internal world, past issues an dhow that impacts their life right now, whether it be relationship issues, to low self esteem to issues around abuse etc.

I am an Accredited MBACP and follow the ethical framework. I use a range of methods depending on the individual needs ranging from talking therapy, play therapy and elements taken from other modalities over the years, I operate a confidential service. I have experience of working with adults and working with children in  schools and private setting.

I specialise with working with Neurodivergent people and have trained in a specialist play therapy called Autplay Therapy devised specifically for Autism and other neurodivergent children and Young people. I have been successful in offering pre screenings/assessments for Neurodiverse conditions within school settings and have been successful in having many children placed on the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental pathway for full assessments. This is something that I can offer privately also.

I attend a monthly CPD/Supervision session specifically on Autism/ADHD.

I also have vast experience in working with famolies who are or have suffered domestic abuse and with Looked after/Adopted children and am DDP level 1 (Dyadic developmental psychotherapy) trained.

Practice description

At this time I work privately from a room at home which is completely private. It is warm and inviting space but is also equipped to work in a playful way with Children and Young people (CYP). I also offer online services which enables me to work with anyone regardless of their location. Again this can work with CYP age 11+ as I can adapt play techniques to work online.

For some people face to face in the room can feel too intense and this is where online sessions can be useful. But I also offer a Walk & Talk Service for clients who again may find sitting in a room or being online difficult.

I try to be creative in my approach to working with people and to make therapy as accessible to all as possible, so will where possible be flexible in my approach to sessions, to find something that works for the client.

My first session

When you 1st get in touch with me I offer a 20 minute free get to know me meeting either on the phone or via online services. If you feel that i could be someone you work with then we would plan for a 90 minute assessment either in person or online. This session will be different to future therapy sessions as it will involve more questions as I take a a full client history, think about what you feel you want to discuss, what is impacting your life right now, difficulties, positives but also maybe changes you may want to make. We will discuss boundaries and confidentiality sometimes known as Contracting.

There is no obligation after this session to book more sessions I'm happy for you to process the assessment, have a think about how it went and if this is the right time for you and if I am the right person, there is no pressure.

If you feel you want to proceed we will the plan and book in how many sessions you may initially want, set a time to review this and a time and day that works for us both.
