About me and my therapy practice

I am an Accredited Psychotherapist, EMDR Consultant and Clinical Supervisor with over 16 years’ experience working across private practice and higher education.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a Lecturer at The Open University, and bring a strong emphasis on reflective practice, ethical working, and ongoing professional development into my supervision.

I specialise in trauma-informed therapy, including complex trauma, attachment difficulties, dissociation, and neurodiversity. My work integrates EMDR within an integrative framework, supporting both clients and therapists to work safely and effectively with depth and complexity.

In addition to therapy, I offer clinical supervision and EMDR consultation for therapists across the UK. This includes individual supervision and small, contained consultation groups for those wanting to deepen their confidence in working with trauma and EMDR.

I also provide reflective and professionally focused supervision for staff working in emotionally demanding support roles, including helpline services, ISVA and IDVA practitioners, and other non-clinical helping professionals and teams.

My approach is warm, grounded and collaborative, while also offering clear clinical thinking and structure where needed. I aim to provide a supportive space where supervisees can think openly about their work, develop confidence, and maintain sustainable practice.

I support supervisees working with:

Trauma and PTSD

EMDR practice and consultation

Dissociation and emotional regulation

Attachment difficulties

Neurodiversity

Risk, complexity and ethical decision-making

Burnout, overwhelm and practitioner wellbeing

Reflective practice and professional development

Supervision is adapted to your role, experience, and professional setting, whether you are an experienced therapist, trainee, support worker, or part of a wider helping profession team.

Practice description

I offer clinical supervision and EMDR consultation for therapists working with trauma, complexity, and emotional overwhelm.

For therapists, I provide a reflective, supportive and professionally focused space to think clearly about your clinical work, explore decision-making, and develop confidence when working with more complex presentations such as trauma and dissociation..

My approach draws on:

• EMDR-informed practice

• Trauma and attachment frameworks

• Nervous system regulation

• Relational and reflective supervision

I support therapists to:

• Work safely with trauma, dissociation, and complexity

• Navigate stuck or challenging clinical work

• Develop confidence in EMDR and trauma-informed practice

• Reflect on the therapeutic relationship and use of self

• Maintain ethical, boundaried and sustainable practice

Alongside individual supervision, I also offer small EMDR consultation groups focused on reflective practice, clinical discussion, confidence-building, and safe trauma work.

These groups are particularly supportive for therapists working with complexity, dissociation, or developmental trauma, and for practitioners wanting a more contained and collaborative reflective space alongside individual supervision.

In addition to therapists, I also provide reflective and professionally focused supervision for staff working in emotionally demanding support roles, including helpline services, ISVA and IDVA practitioners, and other helping professionals and teams.

Sessions are offered online across the UK, with some in-person availability.

My first session

In the first session, we take time to understand what’s bringing you to supervision or consultation, and what you’re hoping to gain from the work.

For therapists, the initial session offers space to explore your current clinical work, the types of clients you’re seeing, and what you’re looking for from supervision or EMDR consultation. You’re welcome to bring a specific case, or to use the space more broadly for reflection, formulation, and professional development.

For practitioners working in emotionally demanding support roles, the session can also provide space for reflective practice, emotional processing, decision-making, and sustainable working.

The first session also gives us an opportunity to consider whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no obligation to continue.

You’re very welcome to get in touch if you’d like to arrange an initial conversation or find out more.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an EMDR Consultant, BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor specialising in trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm and complex psychological difficulties.

My approach is warm, grounded and collaborative, while also offering structure and clinical direction where needed.

I work in a trauma-informed way, ensuring therapy feels safe, paced appropriately, and tailored to your needs. Some sessions focus on EMDR processing, while others allow space for reflection, understanding patterns, and developing stability, emotional regulation and deeper understanding.

I aim to help you feel more stable, clearer in your thinking, and more in control in the present, while working through experiences that may be keeping you stuck.

Sessions are flexible and adapted to you — whether you are looking for short-term support around a specific issue or longer-term work. I will also be transparent with you about what I think may be helpful, while always working collaboratively.

Practice description

You might feel that you cope well on the surface, but underneath things feel more overwhelming.

You may find that you understand things logically, but it doesn’t seem to change how you feel. At times, past experiences can continue to affect the present, leaving you feeling anxious, low, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift.

I specialise in EMDR therapy and trauma-informed psychotherapy, including work with complex trauma, attachment difficulties and emotional overwhelm, which is a structured and evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and resolve difficult or distressing experiences. This can be particularly helpful if you feel impacted by past events, trauma, emotional overwhelm or dissociation.

My approach is calm, grounded and collaborative. I work at your pace, helping you feel safe and supported while working towards meaningful, lasting change.

I have over 16 years’ experience working across private practice, NHS services and education, and I work with adults across the UK through online therapy.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what you would like to change.

We’ll think together about what feels most important, and whether EMDR or a more integrative approach would be helpful for you. There’s no pressure to commit — the aim is to help you feel clear about your options and whether this feels like the right fit.
