About me and my therapy practice
I am a trained and fully qualified Clinical Counselling Supervisor. I offer supervision consultation to qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists, online in Surrey and London, National (UK) and International (Europe).
I am passionate about the benefits of high quality supervision in counselling practice. My integrative approach to Supervision is in addition to the reflective, psychological work which is client-focused. This includes safeguarding, caseload management, looking at ethical issues and encouraging self reflection. Development of the reflective practitioner acts as a means to reflexivity and professional and personal development, of the therapist as an individual, as a therapist, and the development of your counselling and supervision practice. I provide a collaborative, developmental space within which challenging, intriguing and interesting issues arising from practice can be openly and creatively explored.
My core therapeutic model is the Five Relational Model (Clarkson). This provides a framework for integration of different therapeutic modalities, including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, TA, Transpersonal, CBT and creative therapies. The therapeutic relationship comes through in the supervisory relationship in that the work is relational, held within a dynamic that is mutually respectful, empathic and conducive to the way you work.
My approach is to provide you with a supportive, safe and guiding relationship whilst offering psycho-education, opportunities for learning and development and the monitoring of clinical practice.
I comply with BACP supervision standards. As a registered BACP Senior Accredited practitioner I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework. My work is supported in supervision and I hold full Professional Liability Insurance.

What are Counselling Supervision fees?
The fee for counselling supervision is £95 per 60-minute session, £120 per 90-minute session (90 min monthly minimum). Please contact me for further details and to discuss your supervision requirements.

My first session
It may feel daunting to share things for the first time or you may find a sense of relief by getting things off your chest. Living with unresolved problems can be even more distressing and can prevent you from living life fully. Is now the time for that to change?
From our first session, you may feel a connection with someone who hears, sees, and understands you. You may begin to feel more hopeful and less alone. You may feel relief at having found a therapist you feel comfortable with and that the process has started. You may feel excited or hopeful because this is the first step to reach your goal, or nervous because you’re not sure how it will go. You may feel unburdened of heavy or difficult emotions, or fearful of letting them out because they may hurt. You may feel worried about crying in front of someone, or longing to feel that it’s ok to cry and not be judged. All these fears and emotions are natural and will be supported.
Meeting online - We can meet online in live sessions (Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp video). This is a highly effective way of accessing counselling support, with excellent outcomes.
I am based in Surrey with clients who across the UK, from surrounding areas including Guildford, Weybridge, Cobham, Ascot, Windsor, London, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, to the Midlands, North East/West, Scotland and Wales. I also work with clients who are based abroad or while travelling for business or while on holiday (excluding USA where therapy regulations vary).Let's have an initial introduction (20-minutes, free or charge) before meeting regularly.
