About me and my therapy practice
I've been working a Humanistic/Integrative Psychotherapists since 2012 and am registered with the UKCP. I completed a MSc in Psychotherapy at University of Brighton 2010-2014.
I was a senior lecturer at University of Brighton 2018-2023 teaching on the PGDip in Humanistic Counselling and MSc in Psychotherapy. I completed a certificate in Supervision in 2022 and am a qualified EMDR practitioner working towards accreditation.
I current run Hurst Therapy Centre in West Sussex, and work as a Lead Counsellor and Supervisor at a Sixth Form College, running a team of placement trainee counsellors.
Practice description
My approach is grounded in a Humanistic philosophy and I am committed to creating an egalitarian space for clients and supervises to find their own resource and thrive.
I am compassionately active, bringing challenge once the therapeutic alliance has a strong foundation, to generate self awareness, personal growth and development.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a UKCP(Reg) Psychotherapist, and originally trained as a Humanistic Therapeutic Counsellor. I am a qualified EMDR Practitioner and trauma specialist. I have been working therapeutically with clients since I qualified in 2012.
Practice description
I work Humanistically, in that I see the mind-body as interrelated and draw on theory from psychotherapy, yoga therapy, poly vagal theory and EMDR.
I offer a compassionate but active approach where we will work collaboratively together to bring meaningful change for you.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute Zoom call for all new clients so you can meet with me and we can see if it feels a good fit. It's so important to find the right therapist for you.
The first 2-3 sessions involve some information gathering and we will check in after session 3 to see how things are feeling.
