About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and practising counsellor delivering supervision into a variety of settings and with individuals and groups. I believe that supervision should be a supportive space which is restorative and informative. A safe place in which there are opportunities for learning and growth at pace. Allowing a deeper understanding to grow as a number of perspectives and view points are offered and explored together.
Supervision offers a space to restore a balance and recharges the supervisee through supportive reflection and self care.
I feel passionately that everyone should be heard and understood with respect. I am mindful that sometimes we need support to find our voices to do this and to allow us to make sense of challenging and difficult circumstances.
I am a warm, compassionate, creative professional, fully qualified with 22 years experience gained from working in a number of educational settings, health care settings including hospices and the NHS.
Supervision is informed by the Hawkins and Shohett 7 eyed model and supported by the Page and wosket Clear model. At the heart of a relational Person Centered approach allowing me to offer the core conditions of Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive Regard.
Respectfully we can work together to create a relation base to work from.
I can offer face to face, zoom or walk and talk settings to suit your need.
Practice description
I have worked in education, charities including Hospices and in the NHS for the last 22 years as well as in private practice, supporting children, young people and adults therapeutically.
I trained in the Person Centred approach and have developed a wide and varied tool kit which I use to support each unique individual.
I work creatively to support each person in finding their voice and have a range of materials available for you to explore should you wish to. I believe that there is room for exploration in supervision which aims to be both restorative and informative.
I am also a fully qualified Mindfulness practitioner.
