About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Clinical Supervisor, (Diploma in clinical supervision from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute), & offer supervision to Counsellors of all stages of development. Supervisees will have a space for reflection within contracted boundaries in one-to-one sessions, which can take place online, face-to-face or hybrid.

My approach is Humanistic Integrative and I adapt my supervision style and modality depending on each supervisee’s diverse supervision needs. If you are looking for support to get Accredited with the BACP, I can guide you through the entire process.

My previous experience includes working in a managerial position in a counselling service of a large national charity. As a component of this I offered clinical supervision to volunteer counsellors and external counsellors both individually and in a group format. I currently work for an NHS IAPT service alongside my private therapy / clinical supervision practice.

Regardless of your experience and I believe there will always be potential for further growth and development, and I will be with you to facilitate this process by working in an Educative, supportive or managerial way depending on your needs.

As an accredited member of the BACP, I adhere to the Ethical Frameworks for the Counselling Professions. My clinical work is regularly supervised by an experienced BACP & UKCP registered Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Supervision

• Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling

• Diploma in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression

My first session

The Initial consultation which will be approximately an hour, gives us both the space and opportunity to get to know each other and see whether we can work together, collaboratively, in a Supervisor - Supervisee relationship. It is also the time for you to discuss your personal supervision requirements and ascertain whether I am the right Supervisor for your needs.

If our expectations match, we continue to explore the structure and process of supervision by paying attention to the ethical framework, contract, confidentiality, boundaries and accountability taking into consideration your personal style of working whilst keeping at heart the best interest of your clients.

I work flexible hours and I will try to accommodate your timetable

I charge £25 for any supervisory reports required by college or university which I have completed outside our usual supervision session.
