About me and my therapy practice

As a counsellor I recognise how important supervision is to my practice. I find it to be a valuable, supportive resource and an essential part of my counselling practice. My role as your supervisor will be to provide you with a trusting, supportive, confidential working relationship where you can feel safe to speak openly about all aspects of your professional life. I offer a space where you can reflect, gain insights, and receive the support you need to enhance your development as a  professional

My role as your supervisor is to help you navigate any difficulties you might face with clients or your own professional development. I see my role as supporting you, whether it’s offering feedback, guidance, or simply listening as you explore different aspects of your work. Supervision is about looking at how your work is going, your challenges and your successes, it’s also an important resource to help you reflect on how you are maintaining your own well-being and self care and explore the impact your work has on you as a professional

I have been a qualified supervisor for 6 years, I have experience of providing supervision to qualified and student counsellors and other healthcare professionals. I’m a registered BACP accredited Person-Centred counsellor with 19 years experience as a counsellor.

Unfortunately at this point in time I am only able to provide supervision sessions online via Zoom.

I have a Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I also have an Extended Certificate in Online and Telephone Supervision.

I have experience of supervising counsellors who work with children and young people. I have experience of supervising nurses, occupational health practitioners and other healthcare workers from my time working as a counsellor and clinical supervisor at a children’s hospice

I offer a free 30 minute online introductory meeting. Please contact me if you’d like to arrange an introductory meeting or if you’d like to ask me any questions about supervision.
