About me and my therapy practice

I offer you a comfortable space to give yourself the time to explore thoughts and feelings that may be causing you anxiety, stress, depression and lack of self confidence.

Counselling can bring new understanding allowing you the freedom to live your life more effectively, with a new sense of purpose in place of apprehension.

I recognise the importance of having a good working alliance between myself and the client and value each client as a unique person.

I value confidentiality, and client autonomy.

My consulting room is in a private and confidential setting close to Faversham town centre and station.

Practice description

You may want to know why you feel and react in certain ways. Unhelpful thoughts can lead to anxiety, stress, depression and low self esteem, leading to feeling being unable to find a way through.

I can help you through counselling, and introducing you to different ways of thinking

Negative feelings impact on our health and our relationships, both at home and in the workplace.

Giving yourself the freedom to talk and explore negative thoughts that may dominate, can help you to free your mind from feelings of being stuck, allowing you to move beyond unhelpful repetitive patterns of behaviour.

I am a practising Certified Havening Techniques© Practitioner (March 2019)

Havening Techniques are calming, powerful, restorative and scientifically proven way of bringing you rapid relief from anxiety, stress, and phobias, and allow a gentle clearing of disturbing memories.

These new techniques are based in the field of Neuroscience, and bring resolution and resilience towards positive lasting change.d other unhelpful ways of thinking enables a new era of mindfulness, of self- discovery, of healing and growth and healthier, more grounded self esteem.

Both through talking about what's on your mind, and by using Havening techniques to bring relief from phobias and historic traumas, can bring positive results, and empower you with better self awareness

My first session

In our first session you will have the space to talk about what brings you to counselling and what you hope to address or move on from.

I can help you to reach better understanding about what's bothering you, we may look at patterns of behaviour that are holding you back, that we can work on in future sessions.

You can ask me about how I work as a counsellor, which we can expand on. I can also explain the new science behind how Havening can quickly and simply bring relief from phobias or repetitive negative thought patterns that may come from past experiences.

The session gives us time to get a sense of whether we can work together as therapist and client. You can then go away and decide if you'd like to book further sessions.
