Sessions are 50 minutes and my fee is £65.
About me and my therapy practice
You may be looking for therapy because of a crisis, or perhaps because an old way of coping no longer works. You might feel anxious, sad, angry, burdened, full of self-doubt, or caught in relationship patterns that seem to repeat.
Maybe you have a sense that something isn't right.
You may not know exactly what the problem is. Part of the work can be discovering what is actually troubling you.
I am warm, open-minded and pretty unshockable. You will encounter me as a person, rather than a blank screen. Therapy, for me, is something we do together.
Practice description
Your history, relationships, culture and experiences all matter. Together we can explore what is happening now, how you came to be where you are, and what you might need.
You can bring questions of relationships, identity, race, culture, spirituality or meaning. Dreams, unusual experiences and plant-medicine experiences are also welcome when they are important to you.
I work integratively and transpersonally, drawing on different approaches rather than trying to fit you into one model.
My first session
Before beginning therapy, we can have a brief telephone conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you are looking for and whether working together feels right.
Our first full session includes an assessment. This gives me an opportunity to learn a little more about you, your background, what brings you to therapy and what you would like from our work together.
If we decide to continue, sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. You don't have to decide at the outset how long you will come for.

Availability
I currently have limited availability for new supervisees.
I offer supervision primarily online, with face-to-face sessions in Camberwell, by arrangement.
Supervision is available either twice monthly for 45 minutes or monthly for 90 minutes.
About me and my therapy practice
You may be looking for a supervisor who gives you space to think and feel into your work, rather than telling you what to think.
I offer relational, thoughtful and collaborative supervision. You can bring uncertainty, parallel process, ruptures, doubt and wider contexts. It is also a place where you can share successes.
I will think alongside you, pay attention to what you notice and experience. I may offer another perspective or challenge when it's useful. I will also be clear if I have concerns about ethics, safeguarding or client welfare.
Practice description
In supervision, we can think about your client, your responses to the work, the relationship between you, and the wider cultural, organisational and social context in which the work takes place.
I am interested not only in what we think about the work, but in what we feel and notice. Sometimes the body, an image, a change in atmosphere or something difficult to put into words can tell us something worth attending to.
We can also explore questions of identity, difference and power, boundaries, professional development and wellbeing.
I work with trainee, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. My supervisory experience includes supporting therapists through training, qualification and accreditation, as well as working with experienced practitioners, groups and organisations.
I don't expect you to think or practise exactly as I do. My aim is to help you develop confidence in your own clinical judgement while keeping client welfare and ethical practice firmly in view.
My first session
We can begin with a brief conversation about your practice, what you are looking for from supervision and whether working together feels right.
In our first session, we can look at your current work, experience and development as a practitioner, and what you need from supervision. We will also agree how we want to work together, including expectations, boundaries, confidentiality and our responsibilities to your clients.
Supervision is a collaborative relationship, so we can review how the work is going as it develops.
