About me and my therapy practice
I am a therapeutic coach, counsellor and creative arts therapist for individuals and groups.
I work integratively with a foundation of the person-centred approach. Other modalities that may be experienced include creative arts therapy, and life coaching with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to name a few. These varied modalities allow me to tailor my approach to suit each client's individual needs, whether in one-on-one sessions or group settings.
Additionally, I am passionate about working with young people in my private practice and within schools.
I provide creative coaching workshops that blend art therapy exercises with coaching techniques. These workshops are designed to help individuals and groups to gain clarity, understanding, confidence and direction.
Practice description
The person-centred approach is the foundation of my work. That is, I believe that you know yourself best and hold the answers and resources within yourself.
My role is to support you in gaining awareness and clarity, identifying the resources within yourself and providing you a space to develop strong communication around your feelings and needs. This will be provided through a brave and safe space that is non-judgemental, and with great empathy.
I work long and short term based on the need of the client.
Although much of the therapeutic work will be thought talking, I may intergrate other modalities depending on the need of the client such as creative art therapy and coaching exercises.
I will provide a variety of options in how the sessions are conducted such as walking, online, phone or in person.
My first session
I offer our first meeting as a complimentary session because it is important for me to ensure that we make sure that I am the best person to support your needs as well as important for you to feel comfortable with me.
If the partnership between therapist and client doesn't feel safe then the therapy work will be very limited.
During this session we will discuss what you can expect from therapy and what is going on for you that you would like to work through.
Prior to this session, you will receive a short questionnaire which will allow you and I to have a clear idea of why you would like to access therapy.

About me and my therapy practice
The way I work is not about me telling you want you should be doing but creating a space and relationship that challenges you, supports you and allows for reflection and growth.
I provide supervision to counsellors, therapists from various approaches and experience as well as professionals in support roles. I blend the seven-eyed supervision model with my training and experience in various other approaches from PCT to creative art therapy and personal development coaching.
Throughout the last 16 years of experience as a therapist, I have worked within organisations and built my own private practice. Alongside training in various modalities including PCT, creative arts therapy and personal development coaching, I believe in the importance of curiousity, collaboration and clarity.
Over my career I have worked with a wide range of clients ranging from ages 11 to 70+ whom come from schools or other businesses spanning hospitality, finance, and foster care.
On top of my experience and training, my supervision style is based upon the seven-eyed model- emphasising the importance of the whole person, relationship and environment.
