Practice description

Is online therapy an option?

Yes. Online therapy offers a flexible and accessible way to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. You will need a reliable internet connection and a quiet, comfortable space where you can speak without interruption.

How many sessions would I need?

EMDR follows eight structured phases. The number of sessions varies according to your needs and the experiences you would like to work through. We move at a steady pace, with clear explanations and choice at every stage.

Person-centred counselling offers an open, collaborative space to explore what matters to you. The pace and duration are individual, and we can discuss your needs and expectations at the beginning.

Sessions are usually held weekly.

What actually happens during therapy?

Learn more about EMDR therapy and how it works.

Person-centred counselling offers space to talk openly and work through emotional difficulties at your own pace, without pressure or judgement.

Child and adolescent EMDR

EMDR Therapy for Animals

EMDR-informed support for animals is a gentle, adapted approach intended to help with mild concerns such as noise sensitivity, separation distress or worry following unsettling experiences.

Sessions use simple, adapted bilateral stimulation and careful observation of the animal’s cues. The work moves entirely at the animal’s pace, with guidance for guardians on gentle soothing at home.

This is a basic level of EMDR-informed soothing rather than full clinical EMDR, and it is not intended for extreme trauma cases.

Vegan Therapies

For people who feel deeply connected to animals, awareness of animal suffering or involvement in activism can bring grief, overwhelm, compassion fatigue and emotional distress. Drawing on my lived experience as a vegan, activist and therapist, I offer a calm, non-judgemental space that honours your values and individual way of coping. For more information about Vegan Therapies, please visit my  website.

I can support vegan clients with:

  • Vegan Trauma
  • Vegan Depression
  • Activism Trauma/Stress

Further client groups and areas of support

I also work with the following client groups and areas of support:

  • Addiction
  • ADHD
  • Animal-related concerns
  • Anxiety
  • Autism
  • Bereavement
  • Children
  • Couples
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Family therapy
  • First counselling session
  • Grief
  • OCD
  • Phobias
  • Relationships
  • Trauma

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to understand what has brought you to therapy, discuss your history and begin shaping a plan around your needs. Everything will be explained clearly, and you remain in control of what you choose to explore.

Online therapy sessions are available for 60 minutes (£65) or 90 minutes (£95). Longer sessions may offer more space for EMDR or trauma-focused work.

Free consultation

If you would like to explore whether this approach feels right for you, I offer a free 10-minute introductory consultation. It is a chance to briefly discuss what you are looking for and ask any questions you may have.

There is no obligation to book a session afterwards.
