About me and my therapy practice

Couples & Relationship Therapy | ADHD & Low Self-Esteem Support

I'm an accredited integrative psychotherapist specialising in couples and relationship therapy. I offer a structured, goal-oriented approach designed to create real change—often within six focused sessions.

What you'll experience:

Each session follows a clear framework. You'll receive personalised tools, worksheets, and resources tailored to your situation. Between sessions, I provide regular practical assignments—recommended readings, communication exercises, and homework—so you embed new skills and insights into your relationship. This structured support accelerates progress and keeps momentum.

Whether you're navigating communication breakdowns, rebuilding trust, reconnecting after distance, or breaking destructive patterns, this methodical approach gives you concrete steps forward.

I also work with individuals on ADHD and low self-esteem, using the same structured, practical framework combined with CBT, psychodynamic principles, Gestalt, and inner child work.

How I work:

Collaborative, goal-focused, and practical. You're not just talking—you're building new skills and understanding in real time.

Free 15-minute consultation

Let's discuss your situation, explore how a structured approach can help, and confirm we're a good fit.

Practice description

My practice is built on one principle: you deserve real progress, not endless talking.

Whether you're a couple trying to save your relationship or an individual working through anxiety, depression, or ADHD, you'll experience therapy that's structured, practical, and results-focused. I don't keep clients in therapy indefinitely. Instead, I work with clear goals, regular check-ins on progress, and tools that you can use between sessions and long after therapy ends.

What to expect:

You'll walk into sessions with a clear sense of what we're working on and why. Each appointment has direction. You'll leave with homework—communication exercises, worksheets, strategies, recommended readings—because real change happens when you apply new skills in your actual life. I'll give you frameworks for understanding yourself and your relationships, so you're not dependent on me to work things out.

For couples specifically, you'll get practical communication tools, conflict resolution strategies, and ways to rebuild connection that actually work. Most couples notice shifts within weeks.

The experience:

Sessions are collaborative and honest. I meet you where you are, but I won't shy away from hard truths. I combine CBT, psychodynamic understanding, Gestalt awareness, and inner child work—whatever helps you move forward. My role is to guide you toward lasting change, not to keep you stuck in therapy.

Why choose me:

I've spent 15+ years working with the patterns that keep people stuck—particularly in relationships. I train other therapists as a clinical supervisor, and I'm the author of Dump the Baggage, which explores how past baggage drives current struggles. That experience means I bring depth, clarity, and real expertise to every session.

Ready to start:

Book your free 15-minute consultation to discuss what's happening and whether we're a fit.

My first session

Our first session is where we develop an understanding of you. We'll explore the concerns you're facing in a way that provides guidance, tools, and insights into what's actually going on. We'll also discuss your family history—because understanding the roots of your patterns, triggers, and reactions helps you see what's really driving your situation.

From there, we'll look at the goals you want to achieve and create a clear plan. If you want to continue, we'll agree on a regular day and time for ongoing sessions. Each appointment builds on this foundation with practical tools—communication exercises, worksheets, strategies, recommended readings—so change embeds in your actual life.

For couples specifically, you'll get frameworks to rebuild connection and resolve conflict that actually work. Most couples notice shifts within weeks.

I work the following hours:

Monday to Friday from 10 am to 8:30 pm

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced and accredited integrative psychotherapist with over 13 years of experience as a counsellor, and I also bring a background in business coaching. I offer clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees working in private practice, agencies, or training settings.

My supervision style is collaborative, reflective, and integrative—drawing on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt, and Inner Child approaches. I aim to create a safe and supportive space to explore client work, enhance clinical thinking, and maintain ethical and effective practice. My business coaching background also allows me to support supervisees navigating private practice management, ethical marketing, boundary-setting, and professional growth.

I have particular expertise in supervising work related to:

Couples and relationship therapy

ADHD

Anxiety and depression

Low self-esteem

Trauma and attachment issues

Practice description

As your clinical supervisor, I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative, and ethically grounded space where you feel safe to reflect on your clinical work, personal development, and professional identity.

You can expect:

A non-judgemental and reflective environment, where challenges can be explored openly and constructively.

A collaborative approach, where we work together to deepen clinical understanding, build on your strengths, and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Integration of theory and practice, drawing on a range of models including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt, and Inner Child work.

Support with ethical dilemmas, safeguarding concerns, and complex client presentations.

Clear structure and consistency, including agreed goals, regular review points, and space to monitor your progress.

Practical support, especially if you are in private practice—covering topics like managing boundaries, self-care, marketing ethically, and building a sustainable practice.

Encouragement of your autonomy, confidence, and growth as a therapist, tailored to your modality, stage of career, and client base.

My goal is to help you feel resourced, confident, and continually developing in your work.

My first session

Our first supervision session will be an opportunity to get to know each other and establish a foundation for working together. During this initial meeting, we will discuss:

Your background: training, therapeutic approach, client work, and any previous supervision experience.

Your current practice: client load, settings you work in (e.g. private practice, agency), and any areas you find challenging or rewarding.

Supervision needs and goals: what you’re hoping to gain from supervision, areas you’d like to focus on, and how I can best support your development.

Preferred ways of working: including how you like to receive feedback, how we’ll handle ethical issues, and how you process clinical material.

Boundaries and expectations: such as confidentiality, cancellations, note-keeping, frequency of sessions, and working agreements.

Fit and readiness: space to ask questions, clarify anything about my approach, and assess whether we’re a good match professionally.
