About me and my therapy practice
I think of therapy as an exploratory journey which some of us choose to undertake in order to get to know ourselves better and to improve the quality of our day-to-day living
I believe it absolutely is possible for positive change to happen - that we really can grow beyond our histories and/or our current way of being.
You may be aware of trauma in your past which continues to impact your day to day living, or may be needing some support whilst experiencing a particularly difficult one-off issue. Or it may be that you struggle to feel genuinely connected in relationships, or have a sense that something, which you can't identify, is missing from your life. I truly believe that working with the right therapist can help.
I also work with trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, or therapists at the beginning of their professional practice whose work may be highlighting unresolved issues which need addressing.
As a senior-accredited practitioner I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked as a psychological counsellor and psychotherapist in a variety of settings - including having worked for several years in the psychotherapy department of a London NHS teaching hospital and for over 20 years in an ever-evolving private practice.
It is so important for each of us to find a therapist with whom we feel a connection. I offer an initial session, free of charge, in order for us to explore whether I feel to be the 'right fit' for you at this time.
Contact me by e-mail me and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
