About me and my therapy practice
About Me
People often look for counselling when life stops feeling manageable. You might be carrying worry, sadness or uncertainty that has started to take a toll. I offer a calm and steady space where you can speak freely and feel understood without judgement.
My approach is warm, clear and grounded in real experience. I live with a long-term health issues and know how overwhelming it can be when life feels unpredictable or outside your control. That insight shapes the way I work. Clients tell me they appreciate having a therapist who understands how draining it is to keep going when your body or circumstances make things harder than they should be.
Whether you are dealing with anxiety, grief, relationship strain or a difficult chapter that is hard to name, sessions give you room to breath and think at your own pace

How I work
I use an integrative approach which lets me adapt the work to you rather than fitting you into a single method. We look at what you are facing right now and how past experiences influence how you feel today.
Some sessions are reflective. Others are practical and focused on coping. We decide together what feels useful.
There is no pressure to share anything before you are ready. Your time in the room is yours. My role is to support you, guide when needed, and create an environment where you can speak openly without worrying about being judged or misunderstood

My first session
Your first session gives a chance to talk through what has brought you here and what you hope to feel or understand with support. There is no expectation to explain everything in one go. We take things step by step and make sure the pace feels comfortable.
If you choose to continue, sessions are usually weekly to give you consisten support while you work through what is happening in your life.
