Availability

I am a Humanistic, Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist.

I currently have availability within my practice for remote or face to face work.

My working hours are usually between 0900 and 1700,  3 days each week, but I can be flexible according to need.

I have 24 years of experience as a counsellor, psychotherapist and 14 years as a Qualified Clinical Supervisor. Both in an NHS setting and private practice.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.

I work with young people from age 11 years, individuals, and couples and support people with a wide range of emotional and personal dilemmas.

These may include bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, workplace issues, emotional well-being, health, personal development or relationship problems and other life challenges that can feel difficult to manage alone.

Every person is different so my integrative approach is tailored to individual circumstances, goals and needs.

Practice description

I work collaboratively with clients, helping you to explore what is happening in your life; understanding patterns of being which may be influencing your situation, plus, supporting you to develop ways to change those harnesses, at your own pace.

I am committed to continued professional knowledge, in order to give he best support I can, and also, to providing a safe, accepting, confidential and supportive environment in which we can work together to help you through whatever has brought you counselling.

I hold a current Professional Insurance, plus an Enhanced DBS.

My first session

Working together ethically, in our first session we will gain an overview of the concerns which have brought you to counselling.

We can also establish what you want to achieve from your counselling sessions, and assess any current risks to your safety and health. From here, we can explore what may be a helpful structure for your sessions.

And importantly, whether you can feel comfortable to work with me.

I work short-term and long-term; weekly or fortnightly, depending on what may be helpful for you.
