About me and my therapy practice

Feeling overwhelmed by grief and bereavement, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties or loneliness? You don't have to face it alone. I offer warm, person-centred counselling where you'll feel heard, understood and supported; finding a way forward.

Many of the people I work with tell me they're exhausted from trying to hold everything together. From the outside they appear to be coping, but internally they feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or emotionally drained.

You may recognise yourself in some of these experiences:

  • Anxiety or stress
  • Feeling low or emotionally numb
  • Grief following the loss of someone important
  • Relationship or family difficulties
  • Anger that's becoming difficult to manage
  • Trauma that continues to affect your life
  • Addiction or unhealthy coping strategies
  • Feeling stuck without knowing why

My approach is person-centred, meaning I will never judge you, diagnose you, or tell you what you should do. Instead I will work with you. Together, we will explore what is happening in your life right now, while building insight into deeper, historical patterns that might be contributing to your current struggles.

I believe that when you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted for who you are, real change becomes possible. People I have worked with often share that this dedicated space allowed them to:

  • Speak openly without fear of judgement
  • Feel genuinely listened to
  • Make sense of confusing thoughts and emotions
  • Explore difficult experiences safely
  • Develop greater self-awareness and confidence
  • Feel more hopeful about the future

If my profile resonates with you, I'd be pleased to hear from you. Taking the first step towards counselling isn't always easy, but you don't have to take it alone.

Free Initial Consultation

Finding the right supervisor is just as important as finding the right counsellor.

I offer a complimentary 10-minute telephone or online consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your supervision needs and decide whether we are the right fit to work together.

About me and my therapy practice

Looking for supportive, ethical supervision? I offer a reflective space to help you grow in confidence, competence and professional practice.

As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, I believe effective supervision begins with a trusting, collaborative relationship. When you feel safe to think openly, without judgement or pressure to have all the answers, you create the space to develop greater confidence, clinical insight and ethical practice.

Whether you're a student, newly qualified or experienced practitioner, supervision should be more than meeting professional requirements. It should be a place where you feel supported, challenged appropriately and encouraged to develop your own therapeutic practice.

A Space to Think, Reflect and Grow

Supervision offers the opportunity to step back from your clinical work, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and deepen your understanding of both your clients and yourself as a practitioner.

I provide a calm, confidential and collaborative environment where you can:

  • Think openly without pressure to perform
  • Explore uncertainty without fear of judgement
  • Reflect honestly on your clinical work
  • Develop confidence in your professional judgement
  • Navigate ethical dilemmas with greater clarity
  • Strengthen your clinical knowledge and therapeutic effectiveness

Together we'll move beyond simply discussing what happened in a session to exploring why it happened and what it means for your ongoing development.

Practice description

Grounded in the Person-Centred approach, my supervision is relational, reflective and collaborative. Alongside this, I integrate the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, enabling us to consider your work from multiple perspectives, including:

  • Your client's experience
  • The therapeutic relationship
  • Your internal process and responses
  • The wider organisational, ethical and professional context

Where appropriate, I offer thoughtful reflection, gentle challenge and fresh perspectives to help you work with greater confidence, curiosity and integrity. I will help you move beyond “what happened” into deeper understanding, clarity and meaningful development.

Bring Your Whole Experience

Many practitioners feel they should arrive in supervision with the answers, or believe they need to appear confident, capable and unaffected by their work.

I offer something different.

This is a space where you can bring:

  • The sessions that left you questioning yourself
  • Ethical dilemmas and difficult decisions
  • Feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt or being stuck
  • The emotional impact of therapeutic work

Often, these are the moments where the deepest learning and professional growth take place.

Who I Work With

I provide supervision for:

  • Student counsellors and psychotherapists
  • Newly qualified practitioners
  • Experienced counsellors and psychotherapists

What You Can Expect

  • A warm, respectful and confidential supervisory relationship
  • Honest, supportive and constructive reflection
  • Collaborative exploration informed by the Seven-Eyed Model
  • Support with ethical decision-making in line with BACP and COSCA frameworks
  • Space to reflect on both your clients and your own experience as a practitioner
  • Supervision that nurtures your confidence, resilience and ongoing professional development

Supervision is not simply about maintaining professional standards; it's about sustaining you as a practitioner and supporting you to provide the best possible care for your clients.
