About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced practitioner and Supervisor, BACP accredited and Person Centred. I continually collaborate, support and facilitate with each client to tailor the therapy hour to client need and preference. Client feedback reports my strength is my non judgemental and warm presence.

I currently work online with adults in private practice and referred to me by a Mental Health Provider (Private health insurers, EAP, charities).

I have undertaken various trainings that I integrate into my online work with adults: Person Centred, CBT, Jungian and Internal Family Systems (Levels 1, 2 and 3). My Supervisor training - Re-Vision.

I mainly work face to face with children and young people in Schools. I am a Registered Consultant/Supervisor in Jungian Sandplay (STR C) and Jungian Sandplay Therapist (STR). I am also an Advanced Clay Practitioner and Supervisor

Practice description

Every person is unique, no journey is the same. I enjoy meeting each client where they are and helping them find their own way.

My first session

I offer a free half-hour initial online consultation for one-to-one counselling. This gives us both the opportunity to see how we feel about working together and whether my counselling approach is right for you.

You will be able to tell me about what brings you to counselling, the kind of help you are looking for and what you wish to achieve. I can provide further information about the counselling process and answer any questions you may have.

You can then decide in your own time whether you wish to proceed. Subsequent sessions last one hour and cost £60 for a daytime session.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Registered Consultant/Supervisor in Jungian Sandplay (STR C) and Jungian Sandplay Therapist (STR) . I am also an Advanced Clay Practitioner and Supervisor

I completed a Certificate in Supervision with a BACP registered training. My approach in Supervision is non judgemental, collaborative, encouraging, enthusing, empowering and supporting.

I can draw on my long and wide practice experience of both talking and creative therapy with adults (face to face, online, working with a Health provider, Hospice) and talking/creative therapy with children and young people in private practice, at Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools, a Preparatory Boarding School, and at a Youth Agency.

My creative practice has evolved over the years as I have learned from experience in practice, Continuing Education and wide reading. With children and young people I generally work non directively when my client can work in this way (offering sand, clay, building materials and geomag, art and creative materials) and adapt Jungian/symbolic theory from Sand and Clay work to all creative work undertaken. Most adults and some children prefer to work with a talking therapy or combine with a creative therapy – here my approach is Person-centred and integrating as appropriate CBT, Internal Family Systems (Level 3) and other trainings mainly related to attachment, Trauma-informed practice and neurodiversity.

Practice description

At the core of my approach in supervision is to be non judgemental, collaborative, encouraging, enthusing, empowering and supporting, and to be challenging in a curious respectful manner. I discuss with each supervisee what they want to prioritise in their supervision from the out set and this is regularly revised. Supervision is delivered online verbally discussing client relational work. Photographs of creative work can be shared online.

I work with individuals and small groups.

I have listed the client groups that I work with below as a counsellor. In supervision I work only with adult counsellors/therapists online.

My first session

I offer a free half-hour added on to the first supervision session. This gives us both the opportunity to introduce ourselves and time to share what you would like from supervision and your plans for development and support. I can provide further information about the way I work and answer any questions you may have.

I am also happy to exchange information over email and/or phone.
