About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited integrative counsellor/psychotherapist, EMDR therapist and supervisor with over 15 years experience in working in the counselling field. I also have a BSc in Applied Psychology. My area of specialist interest is trauma, with a focus on sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. I am currently offering face to face work in the Portadown area or online/telephone counselling. All work is carried out in adherence to the ethical guidelines and within a compassionate and non-judgemental environment.
Practice description
When I receive your referral, I will contact you by your indicated method of preference. We can arrange to have a free initial phone conversation to gauge a sense if we are a good fit to work together.
Depending on availability, we may arrange an appointment at that stage or I have a waiting list if there is no immediate availability.
The needs of the individual client will dictate the direction of the therapy. This could be talking therapy, EMDR therapy or a combination of both. This is something we can talk about further in the initial phone conversation.
