Current Practice Update: I am currently welcoming new clients into my online practice. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore and reflect through 50-minute video sessions.
When I Work: I am available weekly, Monday through Friday, from 17:30 to 22:30 UK time.
Future Breaks: I am currently working my standard hours with no planned time off in the immediate future. Should there be any upcoming holiday closures, I will notify active clients directly and update this section.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a UK-trained counsellor and psychotherapist with extensive experience supporting adults and young people navigating emotional difficulties, interpersonal struggles, and questions of identity and belonging. My approach is grounded in a relational and culturally attuned framework—shaped by over a decade of work in mental health and community services worldwide.
I work integratively, informed by person-centred and psychodynamic perspectives, with a focus on emotional safety, clarity, and genuine connection. Clients often describe my presence as calm, steady, and non-judgmental.
Practice description
In our sessions, I offer a confidential space to explore the experiences that feel too heavy to carry alone. Whether you are struggling with a persistent sense of low mood, the paralyzing effects of anxiety, or the lingering impact of difficult past experiences, we will work together to understand the language of your distress.
My practice is particularly focused on:
- Examining the patterns in your past and present relationships to help you build more fulfilling connections and firmer boundaries.
- Safely making sense of early life events or childhood adversity that may continue to shape your self-esteem and how you navigate the world today.
- Developing sustainable ways to manage overwhelming feelings, moving beyond "quick fixes" toward lasting internal resilience.
- Acknowledging how your unique background and life journey influence your psychological landscape.
Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, we work collaboratively and at your pace. My goal is to help you gain the clarity and self-compassion necessary to transform old patterns into new ways of being, ensuring that your path to healing feels both safe and sustainable.
My first session
The most important foundation for therapy is the relationship between us. To ensure you feel comfortable and informed, I offer two ways to begin our work together:
1. Initial 20-Minute Inquiry (Optional) I offer a complimentary 20-minute online in-take session free of charge. This is a brief space for us to meet, discuss your needs, and for you to ask any immediate questions about how I work. It is designed to help you decide—without pressure—if you would like to book a full session.
2. The First Full Session (Assessment) If you choose to proceed directly or after our initial chat, our first full session (50 minutes) will be a more in-depth exploration. During this time:
- Story: We will talk more about what has brought you to therapy, your current challenges (such as low mood, anxiety, or relationship patterns), and your hopes for change.
- History: We will gently touch upon your background to understand the context of your experiences.
- Collaboration: We will discuss how we can work together and gradually establish a focus for our future sessions.
Practicalities:
Confidentiality: Like all sessions, this meeting is fully confidential.
No Obligation: There is no ongoing commitment required after the first session. It is important that you find the right fit for your healing journey.
