About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. You may be here because life feels difficult right now. Feeling overwhelmed, under pressure, or simply in need of someone to talk to. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can begin to explore what’s going on. You may be dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or just feeling stuck. I offer one-to-one counselling where you can talk things through, feel heard, and find a way forward that works for you.
I’m a qualified, experienced counsellor (BACP registered), offering support to adults facing a wide range of challenges — including stress, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, grief, and the emotional impact of difficult past experiences.
Alongside my private practice, I have spent over a decade working in a local counselling charity, helping people navigate emotional struggles and everyday pressures. That experience has deepened my understanding of how individual each person’s needs are — and how beneficial it can be to have the right support at the right time.
My approach is flexible, drawing on different counselling methods to match your individual needs . Sessions are confidential, and I understand how important it is for you to feel safe, seen and respected.
Counselling sessions are available face-to-face, by phone or video (Teams or WhatsApp). I also offer outdoor ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions for those who find being in nature calming or grounding.

Practice description
Many of us go through times when we feel emotionally overwhelmed, under pressure, or unsure how to cope — whether due to past experiences, present-day struggles, or worries about the future.
Sometimes we need the support and understanding of someone who can offer another perspective, helping us to see a fresh insight without feeling judged. That’s where I can help — offering a space to reflect, explore and feel supported.
You might be feeling stuck, low in confidence, grieving a loss, struggling with stress or anxiety, or facing the emotional effects of physical health problems or relationship challenges. I can offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore these challenges at your own pace, without pressure.
Having the time and space set aside to look at what’s going on — in a setting where you’re listened to and respected — can make a real difference.
My role is to support you as you work through your concerns and find ways to help make sense of your life.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation by phone or WhatsApp.
Your first session with me is an opportunity for you ask any questions and for us to get know one another and make sure you feel comfortable with me.
We can chat about your needs and talk about what you want from counselling.
