About me and my therapy practice

In helping you expolore your issues I will focus primarily on the relationship between you & me. This is because this is the way in which you can feel supported and safely emotionally held whilst you work on what needs to be done. I have 11 years experience working in the child mental health services. With this type of work I very often find it useful to see parent and child together. Also, sometimes just working with the parent can be helpful. I have had specialist training in working with children and parents / carers where there has been early life trauma which has caused attachment difficulties. I have done a lot of work around death and dying. I held the first 'Death Cafe' (www.deathcafe.com) in the UK and developed the core model which is now used around the world.
