About me and my therapy practice
I offer a safe and confidential space where together we can explore your difficulties and help you get a deeper understanding of your inner self. In my approach I concentrate on both the past and the present: on how our past and unconscious feelings influence our current thinking and behaviour. I believe in the uniqueness of every individual, with their own life experiences that shaped them into the person they are. I also believe in the importance of creating a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe to share and explore whatever is worrying you.
Practice description
I work integratively, which means I tailor my approach depending on your individual needs. My main school of thought is psychodynamic (looking at how our early experiences and unconscious thoughts influence our current emotions and behaviour). However, I don’t believe in applying theories in a rigid way to explain emotions or behaviour. Rather, I prefer to focus on your individual history and unique ways of thinking and relating, to help you reach a deeper understanding of yourself.
