About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering online therapy only, with postgraduate training and over a decade of experience, working primarily through a trauma-informed lens. I began my training in 2011, inspired by my own therapeutic journey and a deep belief in our innate capacity for healing.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I have personal insight into anxiety, depression, complex trauma (C-PTSD), relationship trauma, health challenges, and major life transitions, including spiritual awakening. This allows me to meet clients with genuine empathy, depth, and understanding.

I believe you already hold the answers within you. My role is to help you reconnect with your inner voice, build self-trust, and gently explore the parts of you that feel overwhelming, confusing, or hidden. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and paced to support safety and nervous system regulation.

My passion is helping people reclaim their power, reconnect with who they truly are, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Practice description

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where nothing is “too much” and where your experiences will be met with respect and care.

My areas of interest include:

  • Healing from narcissistic or emotionally neglectful families
  • Recovery from toxic or trauma-bonded relationships
  • Spiritual awakening and identity change
  • Rebuilding self-worth and boundaries
  • Attachment and nervous system regulation
  • Life after illness, rupture, or major transition
  • Maternal mental health difficulties
  • Highly sensitive people and empaths
  • Neurodivergence (autistic, ADHD, AuDHD)

I draw from CBT, psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. I am also informed by somatic approaches, nature-based connection, and an interest in how movement and nutrition impact the nervous system.

My work focuses on understanding the roots of present-day patterns, particularly trauma, attachment wounds, and childhood emotional neglect, so that greater awareness, compassion, and choice can emerge.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone different, it’s about remembering who you are beneath the survival patterns.

My first session

Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15-minute phone call to explore what you’re seeking from therapy and whether we feel like a good fit. This is a mutual and respectful process, and I may occasionally suggest another therapist if I feel that would better support your needs.

If we decide to continue, sessions are held online only, lasting 50 minutes, either weekly or fortnightly.

In the first session, we’ll gently explore your current circumstances, your hopes for therapy, and what feels most important for you right now. There is no formal assessment unless clinically appropriate, and everything moves at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Once payment is received, I’ll send a secure video link and guide you through what to expect.
