About me and my therapy practice
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck? I offer a warm, supportive space where you can begin to make sense of things.
You might be finding that your thoughts feel hard to manage, your confidence is low, or relationships feel challenging or draining.
Perhaps you're not quite sure why you feel the way you do - only that something doesn't feel right.
Reaching for support can feel like a big step, but you don't have to face things on your own.
I offer a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can talk, openly, at your own pace, about whatever is going on for you.
Practice description
I am a Person Centred Counsellor which means our work together focuses on what matters most to you.
Rather than telling you what to do, I will support you in understanding yourself more deeply, helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings and find your own way forward.
Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly and able to speak honestly, even about things they've never shared before.
Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of the work we do together.
My first session
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and its completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect.
In our first session, we'll take things at your pace. I will explain how I work, so you have a clear sense of what counselling with me is like , and you can decide whether it feels right for you.
I may gently ask some questions to help me understand your situation, your background, and what you would like support with.
There will be time for you to ask any questions and to talk about what you hope to gain from therapy.
My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood and a little more at ease.
